Violent video games - harmless fun after all? 🎮
Violent video games have long been a contentious and emotive topic, striking at the heart of parental fears for their offspring and offering easy pickings for politicians seeking to explain tragic events.
Detractors argue they’re a breeding ground for aggression, corrupting the men, women and children that play them and foreshadowing real life events. Others say there’s no proven link and highlight the positive effects playing can have, like increased concentration, strategy formulation and stress relief.
Now a new wave of research is probing the accuracy of previous studies and seeks to redefine the debate. Academics at the University of York say they’ve found “no evidence” that video games make players more violent. Their experiments with more than 3,000 participants concluded games don’t “prime” players to behave in certain ways and showed increased realism doesn’t necessarily translate to greater aggression. Think about this before ze next time you say you can’t give up “YOUR” bacon, cheese, ice cream, etc.
They’re not YOURS, to consume. They’re not your possession to give consent to having them raped, tortured, neglected, § inseminated with processed chemicals and toxins. They have souls, feelings, intuitive knowledge, loved ones, and every right to live/cherish the best life’s possible. Don’t be selfish, by acting as if they are any different than any one of us, or any other animal out there.
Don’t say you love animals if you pick and chose what animals you love, or decide to eat for your own pleasure.
Law of attraction.
Don’t be another soul making egotistical decisions that isn’t giving back to this YOUniverse, by making ignorant acts of self harm, and harm of many others because of an addiction. Because, believe me; I once was addicted to eating animals, and suffering the consequences day in and day out until it caught up to me. Don’t think for a moment it’s not going to come back around like a boomerang, tenfold due to what you believe is easiest, cheapest, or tastes best. Because you may not recognize the affects it has on your mind, vessels, and souls now, but in a couple of years you’ll be another one of those clients to the big pharm to be “treated” for all of these MAN MADE diseases by eating animals, bi products, and end up being told you need to stay on these prescriptions for the rest of your life due to digging yourCELLf into this hole of infections/illnesses/cancer/diseases/ so on and so forth.
Look around at our obesity rate, then look at the lines @ fast food places, or the amount of animal products being promoted. It’s all a propaganda and population control. Once you make small consistent changes, and realize the healing properties given by Gaia, Û won’t think twice about going back to being a carnivore.
Open up your hearts. We are all empathetic compassionate creations/creators. Not one different than ze next.
The Sun is ALIVE!! Look at all that activity! The bright, spindly strands that extend out of these active regions are particles spinning along magnetic field lines that connect between areas of opposite polarity. -

Those worried about our collective futures have reason to want change. We strategize, imagine, design and advocate for better ways of doing things, with benefit to earth, people and business.
But the question of "how can I make a difference?", when the odds seem stacked against us, is a hard one, with potential to render us cynical and demoralised.
If the world is a self regulating system, we can't change it radically. But we can mutate it through our actions, no matter how small. Change comes through envisioning it first, and every intervention results in new potential. This then answers the question of our personal impact in our world: "To influence the future is to imagine it first". What have you imagined new, better, towards your vision off the future?

Soooo... what do we think is wrong with this dog?! 😯 the first picture shows a centrifuged sample of blood in a heparin tube. You can see clearly the red blood cells at the bottom of the tube & the plasma at the top 👩🏼⚕️. Plasma should normally be clear in colour - NOT yellow! 😷 swipe to the next picture to see the cause of the yellow plasma ➡️➡️➡️. The blood results show elevated ALKP, GGT & TBIL levels - which are all liver enzymes. You can see just how high they are by looking at the reference ranges! As well as the yellow plasma, the patient also presented with yellow gum mucous membranes, yellow skin & yellow sclera. 👩🏼⚕️🐾 obviously as nurses, we aren’t expected to interpret blood results - but out of interest I always question the vet WHY the results are the way they are!
You never know what you might find under the smallest ledge! Here a quick free dive down revealed a juvenile spotted drum, a spiny lobster, and a hermit crab living in a discarded conch shell.
