Still on hospital arrest, aka HBR, and contractions were still hanging around but were acceptable given the circumstances. I was allowed to get up to go to the bathroom and take a shower but that was it. After 10 days of not seeing my boy, which was sad and emotional, I finally got to see TJ 😁. Then, the next day I got permission for 30 minutes of outside time, in a wheelchair escorted of course. I had been watching Orange is the New Black and had a newfound appreciation for how people must feel in prison. And then, lo and behold, on day 13, they ran some tests on my uterus and determined the likelihood of me delivering in two weeks was low so they decided to send me home for bedrest! I couldn’t believe it!! Hell yes! As we left the hospital and I felt sun for the first time in what felt like forever, all I wanted to do was stick my head out the window of the car like the dog 😂. Score one for Dana in the uterus war. Dana: 2, Uterus: 2
Pics shown in post are
(1) TJ coming to pick me up on my release day
(2) One day TJ must have really missed momma too bc he jumped in the car when my parents were on their way to come see me and he didn’t want to get out 😂
(3) Randy’s grandmother brought me an Orchid in the hospital (and that was my pretty view from my penthouse). She got it because it had three blooms on it but little did she know it’s my favorite flower. #meanttobe
