J Is For Jumping! My first riding instructor once told me that he heard all the time how much someone's horse "loves to jump," but that he didn't believe most of them. He said, "If you turned that horse out in a jumping arena without a rider, you really think he'd go around the course all by himself?" He'd only met a handful of horses in his career who he thought really did love it, and he said when you find one like that, you keep it. My Angelina is one of those, out in the pasture when we're playing, she will jump over a barrel or log, then turn around and jump back over the other way. In my training, my goal is to teach every horse to choose the jump without force and be as enthusiastic about it as she is. If you need a chute and a whip, your horse might be talented, but is he learning his job in a way that will keep him willing and happy? A little freedom goes a long way. .

Enjoy this cute video of Rosie learning how to jump. Don’t mind my yelling I got so excited when she gave me a lead change automatically 😝she’s honestly the cutest little pony ever and tries so hard. We have the lesson kids riding her right now to put on more miles on her
This cover looks awful 😂😂 I was trying to get her to turn around because that was totally unacceptable. Looking back Symphony didn’t want to jump this log jump, I was very frustrated because I didn’t know why and new that she could, it’s a new jump but it is also a pretty low jump, anyways after that we did jump it.
It’s windy, eh! 🌪
When you are riding in autumn you have to handle some really strong winds. Holding the bicycle straight when wind is blowing from the side and fighting against the headwind is so exhausting.
The only positive things about windy rides? It makes you stronger and you feel like a hero when tailwind is pushing you.🕺🏻
Enjoy your autumn rides! 🍁
