I woke up with something interesting on my heart, and I feel inclined to share it with you.
I am 34 years old and that is the exact same age of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. when he lead the “March On Washington”. Have you ever really taken the time to really think about that? How young he was, and how the events that lead up to that day started long before that.
As I have gotten older, I often think about what my impact is and will be on the world. I think about whether or not I will make a difference in someone’s life, or many lives. Will I influence change? Will my actions inspire others? Will my words encourage those that need encouragement?
I say all of this to say that I look at my timeline and I see so many young people doing so many amazing things, and I am inspired. You hear so much negative about the Black Community, but I see otherwise. I am surrounded by greatness, and I am grateful for that. I am surrounded by so many people that chose to create their own lane, and I only hope that I too can encourage in such a way.
Now here’s that building off of 7th Street - laid down, flipped, and reversed.✌🏽| #PlacesThatDoNotExist
