Gracias Lorena!

New risograph paper goods have arrived from Cabin Journal! Stop in and see their series of prints and collection of cards now in stock.
Spit spit spit spit! I just spent 5 hours riso printing! So tired but it was worth it ☺️. My first risograph zine has been printed and now all I have to do is fold it.
The second page is the back of the zine, that way it’s a zine and a poster. .

It’s definitely a great idea the day before you leave for three weeks to put up a giant abusive new poster at your desk at work. Designed and printed by Paul Morgan (@hernberferd
) for our press, #CurrentEditions
, this 23” x 35” print is the largest Risograph print I’ve ever seen, how about you???

One of my favorite things to do is take a walk or bike ride around my neighborhood and look for the plants that are in bloom. This morning a saw a lot of Hibiscus 🌺 and was amazed to see all of the varieties. I also love that this is an eatable flower. •What are you favorite flowers right now? •Are they eatable? •How you do prepare them? •I would love to hear what is in bloom in other parts of Florida and around the world!
New mini comic coming soon! 😺🌵
The only person who has actually read Xenos in full has voted it comic of the festival omfg 😱😱😱
Comic of the Festival - Xenos: At the Edge of Life.
Just a few short weeks ago we were speaking in great depth about the powerful social commentary of Cat Sims in Black Matter in our review of that minicomic here at Broken Frontier. Sims is one of our 2018 ‘Six Small Press Creators to Watch‘ here at BF and her comics work is seeing a rapid rise in profile with Xenos also recently appearing on @ELCAFest
's own list of ten must-read festival books at @stackmagazines.
In five parallel but thematically related sections Sims examines the effects of technological development on the environment in mini-narratives that explore contemporary issues like the plight of migrant workers, intensive animal farming and emerging diseases, all with a speculative twist. Combining her intricately rendered and uncompromisingly bleak visuals with a storytelling style that asks the reader to interact with and take their own meaning from the page, Xenos is Sims’ most powerful and memorable work to date.
