Volcanoes have little interest in the constructs of humans. I guess we won't be driving beyond this point. #kilauea
Made some new friends today. It was fun just watching them swim. I waved to them from the shore.
Meet the newest addition to our family! We don’t have a name for her yet, but we are open to suggestions! The truck is male and the airstream is female and we need names for both. Thank you to all of our friends and family that contributed to our wedding airstream fund, you have helped make our dreams reality! We won’t be hitting the road for a while, but we will definitely be taking weekend trips. Excited is an understatement! Lyme disease won’t stop me from traveling the nation 🙌🏼💪🏼.
completely overwhelmed by the love on this tour. I am so thankful for each and every one of you 🖤
“These trees rocked!” -Dad😆
When we booked our campground in Vicksburg, MS we didn’t even realize we were so close to such a large battlefield from the Civil War. The National Military Park was a driving tour of the site; rich with history, scenic vistas and impressive monuments to those who fought this pivotal battle.
A little afternoon trail ride along the river. - 🌲🍂🏔 -
The Chattahoochee National Forest is 👌🏼 by me.
**Call to Pryr for #princessBelle
!!** Many of you know that our Annabelle has OI (brittle bone disease), this last year she was also diagnosed with Growth Hormone Deficiency. In moving across the world, we brought a few months supply of her injection medicine and now it's time to refill it. Unfortunately, this medicine that is made/Rx/sold in the USA, is not readily available to us, esp while traveling and not yet settled w a "permanent" hospital/Dr team. **We know Father can make a way! And that's where you come in!**
.Expat life is full of adventures, one of them is "coming home" and adjusting to living on this side of the world again, (even for a short time). Life goes on and "normal" stuff has to continue. That means new Drs and pharmacies. It also means different laws and protocols for medication, which can lead to complications like delayed access or needing a new dose and/or a new machine for our daughter's nightly injections. Even though we did the research, we made sure the medicine was available in both/all countries. Nonetheless, obstacles are not a surprise in the life we lead... In our experience, it is not access to Drs that is a problem to fix. It's access to appropriate (not excessively overpriced) medicine to treat non-preventable conditions, esp in children!! ((Side note, in Thailand Bs hormone replacement medicine costs about $200/vile, 2wks worth. Here in the USofA it costs about $1800/vile. - We are so very grateful for our wonderful insurance that will indeed reimburse us for this medicine! HE is faithful to provide!))
.This is not a complaint, but a request for your help in bringing our needs to the Throne of Grace and asking that the King of all these details would intervene on our behalf. We know you will agree w us as you always stand w us! We know He will give us wisdom and resources to keep our girl healthy and strong! We trust Him in all our circumstances, He's never left us on our own! Thanks friends, we love you all!!
