Not only have we been making sure our ducks are ducking good for you, but also our socials. Why? Because even though some may be far, we want to make sure you’re updated with what’s been happening in #GoldenChopstix
land. So much has changed in such little time! Like how we’ve added a few cocktails to the menu and welcomed Uber Eats through our doors.
But enough with the chit chat let’s start the weekend off with a table full of delicious goodness.
Thanks to Leckies Butchers for their awesome service and quality meats, I can follow the recipes to the letter. The Stuffed Pork Roast (The Keto Diet, Leane Hotel, p334) was cooked into perfection. It was yummy and sucullent. But there is something wrong with the quantities or instructions for the gravy. It took forever for 1 teaspoon of tapioca to thicken in the 2 cups of chicken broth and the roasting pan. I would reduce the chicken broth by a considerable amount and increase the tapioca. The cauliflower rice (p364) went very well with the flavours of the pork and Sichimi Collards (p379). Here in NZ we call them silverbeets😃
