We LOVE Chickpea/Garbanzo beans
Our love began with a #westindian
if u dont know. Google it.
But we eat chickpea in every way
Hummus, roasted, mixed with rice or simply as a side. Recently @maternallyspeaking
(check her page out mommies!!) Made a chickpea sammich and it looked SO delicious. I NEVER heard of it b4 and because we love chickpea i wanted to give it a try
I took canned chickpeas, rinsed thoroughly, took the shells off, put a 1/4 cup of the chickpea on reserve.
The reserved chickpea played the part of mayonnaise, i added fresh nd dried seasonings, heavy garlic, ranch dressing nd lemon juice for my chickpea mayo
The remaining chickpea got mashed in a bowl, i added the chickpea mayo, red pepper flakes, lemon pepper, parsley and cayenne pepper.
Genesis likes making her own sammiches so i got some wheat bread, toasted it real good to hold up to the chickpea mix cucumber slices to add crunch, fresh baby spinach for greenery, some sun chips, fresh raspberries and mini peppers
