Every evening I usually pull the rune from that morning to show how it lines up with my day. I do this for people who are interested in working with runes, as well as a way for me to better get to understand them.
On Friday, we left for a music festival in Burlington, VT, with plans on being gone until late Sunday evening. Here are the runes I pulled over the last four days and how they lined up:
Friday, 9/14: Raidho, the rune of the journey, the chariot. Blessed travels. Friday was a day of running around with school and work stuff before finally making the trek out to Burlington.
Saturday, 9/15: Laguz, the rune of waters and emotions. The music fest was right on Lake Champlain, where we were also camping. Spent the morning at the Farmers Market and then swam in the lake, followed up by an awesome evening of music.
Sunday, 9/16: Fehu, the rune of wealth. This rune also has come to mean friendship and fellowship to me. That which one can enjoy with friends and family BECAUSE of wealth, because of resources. We hung out with our core group of friends that day, and Fehu is a rune that I've pulled on the days we've hung with these friends.
Monday, 9/17: Ehwaz, trust, loyalty, partnership, two being stronger than one. Back to the grind of school and work, and down to southern NH to pick up one of our cars that was having issues with keys and ignition. ×<×<×<×<×<×<×<×<×<×<×<×<×<×<×<×<×<× I pull a rune every morning and ask that they provide a lesson for my day and show me how it will unfold. This helps to deepen my relationship with the runes and helps me better pay attention to the rhythms and intricacies of my day.
Thank you for joining me on this journey.
