quick snapshot of my running journey so far...
2nd ever 10k on the left, and a Marathon on the right... would never of thought I would of been running marathons as the person starting off on the left
So anything is possible if you stick at it and have some dedication.
Of course I'm not talking about TOTAL dedication, that all depends on what you want!
For me, it was just year on year beating my own times, increasing targets, 10k > Half, Half > Full, Full > ??? Who knows what next 😉
But yeah, I've lost weight on the way, not planned, just happened with increasing targets and being consistent, naturally getting/looking 'athletic' and feeling fit
Gone from a 58min 10k runner to a 2:49 Marathon runner... BUT of course this is just purely on being sensible and having my own running goals, of course I still eat what I want, binge on flapjacks/cakes, and drink plenty of ale!
I'm still human 👍 I feel pretty lucky for what I've achieved and HOW I can, I know some people can't eat/drink what I still do and achieve some running goals, maybe I'm an oddity, one of those perceptions people may think you live like a saint when actually you don't! .
Anywho plenty of cracking transformations on here from 'normal' folk and easy to find inspiration from, no big secrets just stick at it 👍
