Creative juices are flowing- don't let the cute puppies fool you 😜. While I do my mom job of waiting in the parking lot while my youngest and her bestie enjoy a concert, I'll get some work done. 💕

Not only is this delicious, but it’s a great way to hide some veggies in dinner. Will not disappoint. •
Recipe posted in my story. When you make it, let me know what you think and tag me in your post. •💋 #ultratraining #whatrunnerseat #runsonplants
How awesome is it to be able to move!? I didn’t realize how much I should appreciate my legs and back until I was injured.
I think I’m finally on the mend though. Just in time to get some speed work in.
The coach @willkelsay
says this week just do something everyday... so I’m gonna go have fun. Yay for play!

Finished a great half this morning that was cool and flat!! Loved the course and the volunteers in Columbus, Indiana. And even though we didn’t win the pick up trunk, we had a wonderful time with our friends!! Miss them being in SC. #millracemarathon #runnermom #burnbootcampfiveforks
For me, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It’s always carby and must be sweet. Large mug of coffee is also a must. Then I’ll go running after dropping kids off at school. I eat breakfast at 7am on weekdays and about 9am on weekends. Hubby has been on a baking streak these few weeks. These delicious cinnamon rolls he made are so moreish. I can easily eat two large rolls for breakfast, perfect to fuel my run (and sweet tooth😆) and keep me going for hours till lunch time or beyond. #runningafter40 #fitafter40 #sweetooth #runningfood #sgrunners #sgrunningmoms #newzealandrunning #nzrunning #breakfast #runnermom
Well... I snuck in another mile today. It was such perfect weather for an outside run but I went to the gym and ran on the treadmill. Why?? I know.
I know... winter is totally coming and I should be taking advantage of the beautiful fall running weather. But at the gym they have giant mirrors in front of the treadmills. Not just so I can see how ugly I look running, but it's a great way to look at your form! At one point I noticed I felt fine and my knees were lined up straight. Then, about .5 miles in I felt my tendon popping back and forth over my ankle. I looked at my knees and I was crossing them a little! When I started focusing again on keeping my knees straight my ankle stopped popping for a bit. Now, I dont think that's the only reason. BUT! If you throw enough tiny rocks at a window, eventually it's going to crack or break. My foot is pretty sore now, so I'll wrap it and rest the remainder of the day.. but hopefully this is progress. It's been since April since my ankle has started having tendon issues. I'm so ready to just have a normal run without it feeling like a rubber band rolling over the joint or like it's going to just give out. For today though, I hope this is a step forward. .

Autumn is finally here and we have our long sleeve tees available just in time + get yours today
Woah. That was pretty amazing. Man miss the mountains. So much more to say, but for now: we eat. #TableRock50K
I ran a 5 mile race today and I think this is the fastest I’ve been since having Derek. I’m so blessed to have married a man who is so supportive in everything I do. Running has always been a big part of my life, it not only helps with my physical health but my mental health as well. David signed me up for this race as an anniversary gift and it just confirmed (again) that I made the right choice when I married him. Thank you @dv3ga03
for taking time from OUR day to celebrate ME. @runsheisbeautiful
put on an amazing and very uplifting event today that I was so blessed to be a part of. I needed this.
Have a great day everyone! I know I will! 💓💓💓 #blessedwife #runnermom
Probably should have taken the day off, my legs hurt somethin’ terrible! But, it’s fall in Oklahoma and this the first day I haven’t felt like I was going to die from the heat. Happy first day of fall, y’all!
Some days you race for time, some days for place // Today was a rough day and I really thought about turning at the half instead of staying on course for the full // So glad I stuck it out, even though it wasn't my day // At mile 25 I spotted the 5th overall woman up ahead and with my family cheering me on I managed to pass her with 0.1 to go and squeak in to the top 5 by 6 seconds 💙 I still have unfinished business on this course... see you next year @millracemarathon
Simple Hydration Run Hero Series #18
This photo series is about you (our followers). Why you? Easy, you decided to tag and follow us on social media. It may have been during this past week or anytime over the last 7 years. You shared your training, apparel choices, new shoes, Garmin issues, expo goodies, gastrointestinal issues, training plans, race reports (good and bad) and of course when you set PRs or qualified for the Boston Marathon. You love the running community as much as we do. You love that feeling of crushing that run, hitting those intervals, attacking those hills, flying down mountains and crossing that finish line. You feel like a super hero in that moment. So we reached out to some of our followers and Run Team members and asked them to shoot a photo in a heroic pose. We hope you enjoy this series.
Runner: Melissa Holmes
Melissa wrote the following in one of her posts and it sums up how she feels about running. “When I struggle with a run I try to remind myself that I’m blessed to be able to do it and healthy enough to go out there and run whatever distance my body will let me. Every day I try to find the great in something. It’s easy to get down when things don’t go the way you planned, however I am a firm believer everything happens for a reason. Life is a gift, cherish it.”
Do you want to take part? If you would like to be part of this series then feel free to take a photo of yourself with a Simple Hydration Bottle in a heroic pose and send it to us for consideration. Or you can shoot your own with the tag #runhero

This morning, I ran a local charity 5K to support my husband’s work. It’s the first 5K that I have ran since I started consistently running. Because I’m in marathon training and it was on the trails, I really had no expectations going into the race.
It turned out to be a gorgeous morning, and I am very happy with how it went! It was a tad short for a 5K so I would’ve been really close to that sub 20. It did feel good to get outside and see what the legs could do! Now time to rest up for the long run tomorrow!
Do you get frustrated if races are short?

Nacogdoches Run Club and extended family made a race sweep!
Scoped out the scene for the last part of my 50k trail race coming up in 3 weeks! And enjoyed some company on the first loop. Thanks @daniellehartle
and Jenni for the invite 😉

Somewhere in one of those↑scenarios or maybe a million other scenarios, you began to TRUST me.
Trust me when I tell you that you are missing out not joining me.
Trust me when I say I watched for a long time and my only regret was not jumping all in sooner.
Listen, I believe in these plant based supplements, but it is SO MUCH bigger than just a PINK DRINK!
I will absolutely continue to share this blessing with EVERYONE in my life because I would be doing YOU a HUGE DISSERVICE by not.
Plain and simple. Do this with me! Don’t keep watching me, let me help and encourage you. This is hands down the best decision I have EVER made to create a legacy for my family
So hear me out . . . . . . .
My supplements are NOT a DIET and they are NOT MAGIC PILLS. (However, I sometimes feel like they are magic!) 🌱 It’s about balancing the body with plant based supplements. 🌱 Healing the gut and restoring each organ system. 🌱Giving the body what it is not getting on a daily basis even when eating clean whole foods.
I’m so passionate about this because I spent years caring for people in the medical system who were suffering inside and out and I was only able to help them within my scope of practice and within the medical system mindsend. But now I have the freedom to use my knowledge and experience to help change lives and health from a root level and see people actually HEAL!!! 🙌🏻🌱💕 🌟 If you are passionate about improving your health AND changing lives, you can do this too! 🙌🏼 Let’s write YOUR story so you can help others write theirs. 💕
8 miles with hill repeats to celebrate the first day of fall! And it sure feels like fall... mid 60’s and 20 mph wind gusts!•
This is the longest run I’ve done since my epic fail in Portland. I made myself run the “big hill” 6 times over the 8 miles because my next half has around 800 ft of elevation gain over the first 6.5 miles•
The temp was perfect but the wind was brutal and my hip started hurting around 4.5 miles. I REALLY wanted to quit. But I remembered something God showed me this week: I have nothing to prove. But with His help, I CAN do hard things, even when I don’t believe that I can. This proves nothing about me - but it proves everything about Him. He cares about the things I care about and He uniquely shows His love to me, especially in my struggles•
