Stamani ho svolto l’ultimo lungo in vista della maratona, 38 km in gran parte lungo il percorso della gara per studiare al meglio ogni km e per non lasciare niente al caso.Sono soddisfatto, mi sono reso conto di aver fatto un buon lavoro e tutto grazie al mio grandissimo coach che mi prepara sempre al meglio in ogni mio obbiettivo.#iousobooster

Today was the perfect balance between challenging and enjoyment, not all runs strike this beautiful balance so when they do I feel like the baddest of badasses and remember why I love this crazy sport in the first place.

Eigentlich stand laut Trainingsplan nur 1 Stunde im GA2-EB mit 8x8 Skippings incl. Ein-und Auslaufen an, allerdings war die Runde nach der Stunde noch nicht zu Ende, so dass der Heimweg noch dazu gekommen ist. Bei dem herrlichen Laufwetter und der reizenden Begleitung ist die Zeit sowieso wie im Flug vergangen.
Heute ist mein erster Doppeltraining-Tag. Das heißt, es wird heute Nachmittag noch eine Rad-Einheit geben 🚴🏻♀️😁

Il mio programma allenamenti va avanti oggi con 30’ di corsa facile + 5x1’ veloci e 1’ normale a finire 10’ ritmo normale.
So since I found this image on google, I guess I’m not the only on that lives this way!? I sometimes feel it’s counterproductive to run or exercise period cause of the amount of food I eat afterwards😂😂😂

Lake Half Marathon nearly one year ago. This picture is taken at that exact moment last January.
My yell had little to do with the fact that I obliterated a goal that I had set for myself. On the flight up to Chicago that weekend, I wrote down “<1:24:00 - F3 Lake Half Marathon | 6:26” in a note on my phone in reference to both the time & the average pace I had to run to achieve it. I ended up crossing the finish line in 1:21:24, which crushed that goal and was more than 7 minutes faster than what I ran 3 months earlier in my 1st half marathon in 9 years.
My yell had EVERYTHING to do with the fact that I wanted to let the world ... SCRATCH THAT ... I wanted to let myself know that “I AM BACK!” Did you hear that, Tyler? 🗣 “I AM BACK!”
For way too long before that, I dabbled in destructive behavior that pulled me further & further away from the man that I wanted to be and closer to the man who I didn’t want to know any longer. But once I crossed the finish line, it was like I flipped the page. All of those previous decisions might have already happened, but they wouldn’t define my future. I had to make running a focal point in my life again and through that I was able to find myself and make myself whole.
That’s why I scream as I crossed every major finish line since then from @grandmasmarathon
in Duluth, Minnesota to @irunrocketcity
in Huntsville, Alabama. And will likely yell as I finish the @bostonmarathon
in April. The yell is remind myself that “I AM BACK” and that I am dictating my life again. That I am closer & closer to the man I want to be and further & further away from the man I didn’t know.
