The weather network said it was a beautiful day, I thought it might be a bit toasty even.... then I saw the sky but I’m no meteorologist so who am I to assume dark low clouds mean rain? And then the sky opened up and the wind joined the party... and as soon as the run was done, it was beautiful blue skies! This is the reality of being a working mom without full time childcare. Today, after many changes to my schedule and an oversight, I was embarrassed to ask the women I was working with, if Max could come along as he’s done when he was little. But both mamas were super understanding and accommodating. That’s why I love this job! In return, Max showed them a lot of love and cheered for them in every exercise. Thanks for the 📸 @zabloom

Why is ot that on the days you don't feel like training - like at all - (especially after a weekend with drinks and yummy food) You have the most amazing run!? All I wanted to do was to sit on the couch with my boys -- BUT my amazing mother in law texted me saying she would watch the boys so I could run - every part of me wanted to say "no" but I knew sitting here wasn't going to get me any closer to my goals. So I sucked it up, got ready and pounded some pavement. Got a great 5.39km in and 2 minutes faster than my previous time running the same loop!! If you saw me looking like this would you ask me if I needed water? Well that happened to me today at the end of my run! I must have looked pretty tired because as I was walking to cool down a construction worker asked me if I needed water. Very nice of him as I am still on vacation in the desert but not sure what that says about me! As for the run itself it was okay. I attempted to do my regular Monday progression run and made it except for the last mile (9:13, 8:59, 8:38, 8:24, 10:11). Lots of issues that last mile and a lot slower overall from last week. Not too upset overall but not happy with that last mile. I mentally was not tough and I was even listening to a podcast about mental endurance. I guess that's why the construction worker was worried about me! One more run in the desert coming before I head back to cooler temps. We'll see how that goes. Back at it after a weekend in Chicago eating ALL the bread 😍 I’m using up produce and my freezer stash before shopping this week. Our CSA arrives on Tuesdays so I have to eat these veggies before more arrive! In my stories I’m sharing what I made - nothing fancy, but simple is better! I don’t like salads unless someone else makes them, but I’ve been getting better at integrating them into my lunch plan. What are you cooking today?

• ➡️ en fait J’ai un problème qui date de mon 2ème accouchement, ma hanche gauche s’est déplacée, pendant ce dernier, 😱, avant de reprendre le sport j’avais déjà vu 3 fois un osteo mais le traitement fut superficiel, et les douleurs sont revenues 😞, je teste un autre osteo on verra.... j’aime déjà beaucoup son approche et sa manière de faire...c’est plutôt positif non? Hehehe 😅 •
La 2ème bonne nouvelle (en fait non 🙅🏽♀️): plus de semi avant 3 mois 😭, plus de longue distance! Si je reprends c’est maxi 10! Moi qui aime bien les course d’endurance!
Du coup je remets ma photo de mon 1er semi, de la braderie. Je comptais la refaire à la rentrée! Eh ben Welou! 😞😒

Saturday was SO busy but I had to start my day with my girls! 10 miles at 5:30AM. I NEVER regret my long runs with friends. Made a dash home to grab a quick shower and head to our church to decorate for VBS. We were there ALL DAY and the church looks great! After all that we met up with my side of the fam that was in town for a family reunion. Loved seeing everyone but we were wiped! Got home about 9:30pm. The kids did so good just rolling with our crazy schedule and Wyatt actually NAPPED AT THE CHURCH in the pack n play, read: MIRACLE! I got nearly 26,000 that day and I felt every one of them when I crawled into bed Saturday night 🤪🤣
