Once pain and inflammation calm down, and your home care plan is in full swing, plan 4-6 weeks to get fully up and ready to go.
Everything is a progression. Your running volume, workout intensity, strength training, and mobility and stability. They are all part of the plan and fit together nicely.
Lastly, and we say this often. Just because we have reached a point to cut down on in office care, does not mean that the future is going to be all pain free running. There will be days of discomfort. There will be days where it is better to call it, walk back, and take a mobility work and rest day. Those focused on the long game and their big goals understand this.
