progress pic.... When I started Jan 2017 to now. I got amazing results about 6 months after joining RWL and last summer did the beach body plan which got my body in the best shape it’s ever been! It was then my birthday, followed by a holiday to Italy, not long after that came the winter nights, then Christmas. I’ve been consistent throughout but if I’m 100% honest it was more of a 70/30 lifestyle than an 80/20 and I did notice the weight start to creep back on. I weighed myself after Christmas and was a bit disappointed with what they read but I didn’t let it deflate me... since the new year I have been back to the 80/20 lifestyle and the results have shown. I am the leanest I’ve ever been, the healthiest, the fittest and the most confident- I am smashing the goals I set myself for 2019 and it’s such an amazing feeling!
I want to share this feeling with you guys, I know what it’s like to feel like you’re constantly on a diet but not getting anywhere, forever giving up thinking what’s the point, not having the motivation to work out etc... I’ve been there!
The main things I’ve learned since being part of the #rwlfitties
is stay consistent, this means making the right choices every day, including bad choices! Bad choices can still be the right choices if it’s what you want! Never deprive yourself! If I really wanted fish & chips today I would have had them but some days Id rather stay strong. If I had have had fish & chips I would have enjoyed them and then carried on eating healthy the next few days with 0 guilt. Staying consistent also means working out when you say you’re going to work out and sticking to the goal you set yourself without anything getting in your way. If you usually do 4 workouts a week and it gets to Sunday and you’ve done 3.Do 5 the following week, don’t slip! Stay consistent, stay strong & do workouts you enjoy! That way you will see results. They might not come in 4 weeks, they might not come in 4 months but you will suddenly notice them. You might notice them in your health first or your fitness levels but that is still progress! It’s not all about how you look to other people, it’s about looking after your body!
