The Battleline of the United States Navy on manuevers in the mid 1920s.
The three closest ships are the Colorado class dreadnoughts, Colorado (BB-45), Maryland (BB-46), and West Virginia (BB-48). Following close behind is Tennessee (BB-43) while three older battleships bring up the rear. The photograph was taken from USS California (BB-44). This is a neat photo as the shows the "Big Five" (Colorado and Tennessee classes) sailing together (Granted, California is out of the picture). Want to see more naval history?
