Another trip to Belhaven this morning, for a wander amongst the sand and sea. There were a good few surfers out, some retreating only just as I arrived. The tide was far enough out that even when it did make it’s way to me, it was at snails pace. And yet, I still managed to soak my feet. The sky was at it’s best early, and this was only my second shot before this composition disappeared. Still, the conditions were perfect for a relaxing walk up and down the shore, sipping coffee and watching people bob up and down in the surf.
Saturday was a great day for photography here on the Isle of Skye. I went to the north-west of the island and searched for inspiration for my autumn Skye collection. I visited the Lyndale, Dunvegan and Neist Point. Here is my winner so far - the Dunvegan castle in its autumn beauty captured just before the sun disappeared behind the horizon on the opposite side of the loch.
