(Swipe right to see how I looked a few months ago). First pic was 8 months ago. I started eating better and losing weight. The second picture is now. Working with @liftingpeanuts1
and staying on a strict 7-day meal plan with @eatnakedla
while simultaneously working 15 hour days tattooing, has gotten me to this point. It is hard to put into words just how much work I have put in during the last few months. Only my videographer, Joey, who is with me every single day and some clients that I have tattooed here in Los Angeles have seen firsthand how much dedication it takes, to create a life I am proud to live in. The reason for this conversation is because while I was thinking of a caption for this photo, the fact that everyone (including myself) only ever sees photos like this and immediately judges and makes excuses, like he got lucky, or genetics, only spreads their own insecurities and negativity to try and make themselves feel better. Lots of people only focus on the nice car, designer clothes, likes and follows, and then immediately compare themselves to that. Trust me, I have been there! It is easy to feel insecure about yourself in terms of success, but we don’t see the work behind it all. Even people like Drake. Do you think that without endless amount of hours practicing and acting, and at the same time teaching himself to write he would be where he is today? For example, you don’t see the alarm I set to make sure that I only sleep for 6 hours each night. You don’t see the 15 hours of work 5-6 days a week that it takes to even create the tattoos you see. You don’t see the two hours I spend at the gym every day and never going out and drinking or hanging out with friends. I promise that every single person that you deem successful, has put in an insane amount of hours focusing on their craft, and who they want to be in life. The moral of my story here, is that every one has the capability to get what they want in life. Instead of hating yourself or comparing yourself to others, stay in your own lane. When you think you’re working hard, double it. Set goals and work hard to achieve them.
