My coach told me something the other day that has really stuck with me.
>>We can’t start making progress on the outside until after we get me healthy on the inside<<
When I was in prep for my show I got down to a VERY low weight (especially for my height), and my health had been sacrificed for a while. I didn’t prep “traditionally” and because of that I have had a LOT of issues the last couple months.
I was so dang skinny y’all. Like REAL TALK.
My health paired with a skinny mental image of me I had been used to for so long, has been a huge challenge I’ve faced literally every day since my last show.
I’ve gained a lot of weight back.
I’ve had terrible digestive issues.
I struggle with seeing myself in the mirror.
But I’ve been too focused on wanting to LOOK a certain way and have forgotten that my HEALTH is the most important thing right now.
You can’t bear healthy fruit from an unhealthy tree (Matthew 7:18) so I need to be in it for the long haul. 💗

Ps. Thankful for my coach that’s putting up with this shiz show rn @jgriff_fit
