Saw this on the Gram today.... I love it.
We see memes all the time floating around how Airbnb doesn’t own any properties and yet they have blown the hotel industry out of the water; Uber doesn’t own any vehicles, but they shook up the taxi/transportation industry.
What we don’t really hear about are the other reasons by which these companies may have fallen short... and this meme hits the nail on the head.... 2 words- Customer. Centricity.
As my resume would show you, most of my career path has had some sort of customer service aspect to it. And each and every role I have played, I have had a customer focused mind set. You can have all the tech frills, the highest rated marketing agencies helping you out, but at the end of the day, if your customer service is shit... your business will eventually fail.
Advice- Your customers (and your people), should be the BACKBONE of everything you do.
Reflection- where have I fallen short in my business when it comes to my customers? How can I do better? What have I done well?
