~ Bridal Bag Essentials ~ You need these with you on the day. Dump them on your bridesmaid or mum if you’re not carrying a bag. 💄 Lipstick ~ touching up lipstick is a two second job once every couple of hours. You will be eating, drinking and kissing all day and evening. 💋 🌙
If you let it wear off, you may regret it the photos arrive.
It’s a very long day and Champagne has an unfortunate effect on breath. Some sugar-free mints (not gum- it looks terrible with a white wedding dress). Powder Compact ☁️ Pressed powder is the fastest, easiest way to keep makeup looking perfect over the course of a long day.
Every couple of hours or before photographs, press powder ideally with a brush or large eyeshadow brush onto shine (usually forehead, chin and nose) is in a rolling motion.
I wouldn’t go anywhere without perfume ~ but a tiny travel atomiser like Travalo and fill with your favourite scent. Spray after the wedding breakfast (strong perfume when people are trying to eat is not nice) and before the evening reception, to freshen up.
Cotton buds ☁️ These are essential for cleaning up smudges, mascara runs, kiss prints on your face, any mishaps down your dress (cleansing water is the best if you can get one - a small tiny travel bottle into your bag, you can get them from chemists.) 👄 They seem a faff to carry, but when you need them, having them to hand is a godsend.
Pro Touch up Service ~ 🖌 👄Unless you have me at your venue for a Pro touch up service that is! I can be on hand to freshen up you and your maids before the evening starts and after an emotional afternoon of speeches. ❣️www.sashabrownmakeupartist.com ❣️
It may seem obvious, but if you need specs to apply make-up, you’ll need someone to bring them if you’re not wearing them. So many brides forget them amid the fuss. #sashabrownmakeupartist #bridalmakeupartist #bridal
