Sunshine, blue skies and not 5,000 degrees! ☺️
Despite arriving in rain and fog and not being able to see the sea last night, today has been beautiful and around the longed for perfect temp of 22 degrees with a cool breeze! 👏🏼
The boys were in beach heaven before they even left the beach carpark. I didn’t know it was #swimsuitsaturday
or I’d have made sure I was in mine, ready to rock. Tomorrow I will be! Can #swimsuitsunday
be a thing?! Today we were exploring and I was realising how hard it is to walk up hills! Last time I was here I remember the ‘run’ up the hills was torture... this time I’m slightly concerned I might not make it up at all.. never mind at pace!! Bring me a winch!!
The neighbours have already heard me shout. A lot! And we are now beginning project ‘why are these children so flipping rude, lazy, entitled, addicted to screens and don’t listen to a word we say?!’ 😡😬😫
... Part one consisted of me losing the plot. .
And I will have to think of part 2 tomorrow 😩😭
Only joking about the part 2... iPods have gone, for the foreseeable future.. I let them watch half of ‘Big’ before bed (how sexist are 80’s films?! Still love it..) as a compromise.. Albie really wanted his when he got home but I was a beautiful garden wall (strong boundary) and he got over it. Noah doesn’t care about his iPod but we have reigned in his freedom to roam until he can listen to and follow instructions the first time. The older he gets the bigger risks he takes. He would be up the cliff face today if I turned my back... being pregnant makes me feel so out of control as I can’t follow him up the cliff/out to sea/even up a bloody hill, or not quickly enough anyway... so if he doesn’t listen first time.. he’s back at my side. He finds it almost impossible.. but he’s getting it.. he actually watched out for me when he was in the sea and told Albie to come back in with him when I waved at them.. which is a first 😌
And they were both fast asleep before 8pm 🙌🏼👏🏼 An evening!! We don’t actually know what to do with an evening 👍🏼👌🏼
I’m optimistic now for this #holiday
actually being lovely. Tomorrow I’m not going to shout. 🤞🏼
