Sorry for the long post but I can't believe I am nearly going into my 6th month of being a self-employed beautician as well as having my existing makeup business and I am so happy with how far I have come all with the support of my lovely clients as well as people who like and follow my business social media pages!
I was so nervous at the start that I have made a mistake going self-employed, that I may not get any clients and may have to find another job working for someone else but I could not have been more wrong! I have had fantastic feedback from my clients new and returning that I provide a good service which is very reasonably priced within the area and it makes me so happy to hear this.
One thing I have realised is the fear of failing is what stopped me from taking a risk and starting out on my own before. You will hit challenges and hurdles when you set up your business but I have learned from them and it has made me even more determined to succeed. I will never give up on what makes me feel like I am doing in life exactly what I am supposed to be doing and I am happy I took the risk when the unexpected opportunity came my way to start up fully self-employed.
I am planning some very exciting things that allow me to be even more creative and I am so looking forward to sharing them with you all over the coming months!
