Tomorrow, join us for our fourth week of advent: God with Us. We will be looking at Matthew 1:18-25. To think on: All other religions say we are here to find God. Christianity says, God is here to come find you! #seattle#mtrainier#seattlechurch#seattlechristians

"Defense of a would be supernatural Jesus can easily degenerate into a portrayal of Jesus as a first century version of Superman – not realizing that the Superman myth is itself ultimately a dualistic corruption of the Christian story.” - N.T. Wright (The Challenge of Jesus). Join us for thoughts this Sunday, on God in the Flesh as we look at Hebrews 2:5-18. #seattle#seattlechurch#seattlechristians
Vote with your heart, today. "Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind." Peter 3:8 #seattle#church#decision2016#usa

This Sunday, 11:30am-12:30pm, Discover @allsaintschurch. Being on Mission connects us to God and each other. As we find our place on the mission, we learn to connect with God and others through the way we live.
We believe that living on mission together is an action and a response, not just a phrase. During this tour you will hear All Saints’s story, why we exist, where we are going, and how you can join in the story.
Meet in the All Saints Church commons.

Tomorrow!! November 1st, 2016 at 7pm - 8:30pm Join us to answer questions and set the tone for the coming years as we seek to understand our community, culture, and mission. Meet in the workspace at 7pm and park in the church parking lot. Questions we will be discussing: -What does it mean to be the church in our busy culture?
-How do we foster community when average attendance is 3 out of 8 Sundays?
-What does it look like for All Saints to plant a church in another neighborhood?
-How do we grow our volunteer base?
-How do we reach the community of Post-Christian people and invite them in?
-What is discipleship and what are some best practices that will ensure maturity in our relationship with Christ?
“I don’t respect people who don’t proselytize. I don’t respect that at all. If you believe there is a heaven and hell, and people could be going to hell or not getting eternal life or whatever, and you think it’s not really worth telling them this because it would make it socially awkward. How much do you have to hate somebody to not proselytize? How much do you have to hate someone to believe everlasting life is possible and not tell them that?" -Penn Jilette
Telling your story of transformation is the most loving thing you can do in the world. Do you believe it? This Sunday we will talk about why. Please join us at @allsaintschurch for our 10am gathering.

Drink from this well, and you will never be thirsty again. Click over to our website to hear Sunday's message about transformation on the Podcast. .
"'Are you not thirsty?' said the Lion.
'I am dying of thirst,' said Jill.
'Then drink,' said the Lion.
'May I—could I—would you mind going away while I do?' said Jill.
The Lion answered this only by a look and a very low growl. And as Jill gazed at its motionless bulk, she realized that she might as well have asked the whole mountain to move aside for her convenience.
The delicious rippling noise of the stream was driving her nearly frantic.
'Will you promise not to—do anything to me, if I do come?' said Jill.
'I make no promise,' said the Lion.
Jill was so thirsty now that, without noticing it, she had come a step nearer.
'Do you eat girls?' she said.
'I have swallowed up girls and boys, women and men, kings and emperors, cities and realms,' said the Lion. It didn't say this as if it were boasting, nor as if it were sorry, nor as if it were angry. It just said it.
'I daren't come and drink,' said Jill.
'Then you will die of thirst,' said the Lion.
'Oh dear!' said Jill, coming another step nearer. 'I suppose I must go and look for another stream then.'
'There is no other stream,' said the Lion.” -CS Lewis, The Silver Chair. #cslewis#podcast#seattlechurch
