is a fucking legend. I’d go even further to say that motivation is bullshit, motivation comes and goes. If you only do things you want to do when you “feel like it”, Then you will never be GREAT at it. Because when times come when you’re tired, sick or lazy, you won’t do what you need to do because you “don’t have the motivation”. If you have self discipline, You’ll do what needs to be done whether you feel like it or not.
2019 is the year for you to flourish. It’s the year for you to expand. It’s the year for you to enjoy the process of living, and being intentional about it, day in and day out, because you understand and feel the power behind your intentional habits that are essentially creating your happiness.
Choose to be a cooperative component to your own desire by scanning the positive of your situation instead of the negative.
Stop the momentum of negative self-talk 👎🏽 , and start fresh each day, with proactively changing the habits that create your identity.
Is what you are doing throughout your days using your energy wisely for your own benefit, or is what you are doing throughout your day depleting you of your creativity, uniqueness, and vitality?! It all beings with your day to day living habits you choose to carry out on your own or with others. What fulfills you at the end of the day?! Start with writing down 3 things that satisfy you and focus on your habits being connected to them. Also, journal and make a list of the things that you do throughout your day; re-evaluate that list at the end of your day, and write anything you would have done differently to support your 3 goals/priorities/desires you wrote down.
If you do this for one month, I promise you that you will notice and feel the intelligence of your mind working for your own good, and ultimately realizing that you are the creator of your own happiness simply by being aware of and directing your habits✨🙌🏽. @mercy_goodrich

Holy crap look at the calories in Naan bread!!!! Living in Little India (aka Surrey, BC, Canada)... Indian food is one of my fav treat meals... but man, i didnt know it was that calorie dense.... my fav is Spinach Naan from Taste of Punjab restaurant... but my true fav is Mooli Paratha (which is Daikon radish shredded and cooked into a batter sorta like a roti/naan... so similar to them) so yummy ❤
Make the most of every experience. Remember that experience is one of the best teachers. So instead of dwelling on it too much, take time to be thankful and always look for the silver lining. There's always something to learn. You just have to look at it from a different perspective.

program, that we’re actually doing serious harm to our ability to focus for the rest of the morning 😳 Per her and her brilliant mind, when we press snooze and fall back to sleep we begin another 90 min sleep cycle. So when we wake ourselves out of it ( when that damn alarm goes off again ), it can take up to 4 hours for our brains to come out of that fog - it’s supposed to be sleeping, after all! Her explanation is more scientific - but the takeaway is...💥unless you want to be in a mental stupor all morning, get the eff up when your alarm goes off! I know, I sound like the fun police... but don’t shoot the messenger🙃

I made a bad first impression with some person I’ll probably never meet again? Irrecoverable. Might as well stab me in the face with an icepick and murder my family.
Fumbled over my words when talking to someone I’m interested in? Doomed to be alone forever. BRB: castrating myself, giving all my stuff to charity, and joining a eunuch monastery.
Okay hopefully we aren’t that bad... but suffice to say, how many of the things that we obsess with worry over actually come to fruition? Almost none. And those that do, end up being far more bearable than the horrific tragedy in our minds.
Next time you’re feeling anxious, consider the possibility that things may not be as catastrophic as you first think.
It’s been 2weeks and 4days to be exact since the first day Khanh and I started this 90(ish) day challenge.
Current weight : 134lbs.
My goal here is to be a better version of me.
I’m not here to compete with anyone else, other than myself.
The Allison that will come out of this challenge will be thee BEST Allison she has ever been!
Mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
I am giving this challenge my 💯 percent and nothing less.
Go challenge yourself!
Whether if that’s losing 10lbs, or going to the gym at least 2x a week, or even challenging yourself to not eat fast food for a week. Just ANYTHING!
Challenge yourself to do something that you thought that wasn’t achievable.
You’ll end up thanking and loving yourself a whole ton! I promise you! 💜
And remember, it takes 21days to build a habit!
