It resonated deeply with me at the time as I was quite physically uncomfortable 😂. I’ve been wanting to do aerial yoga for a while and finally did it! Have you tried it?? One of the most difficult things I’ve ever done! And I’ve be doing a lot of uncomfortable things lately— climbing volcanoes, laying on the bathroom floor with food poisoning, etc. etc. 😝
The cool thing is, that we are capable of so much more than we realize. And if you push through those moments of discomfort, whether physical, mental, or emotional, you’ll be amazed at what you are capable of. And the feeling afterwards is just amazing! You did something you never thought you could! And you survived! 👏👏👏

Happiness is an eveyday challenge.
The next two weeks I will not teach yoga, because I will practice my own yoga-way by singing with one of my favourite yoga musiscens in NY. Krishna Das's music helped me a lot when I was in real trouble with myself. Just listening to his songs
brought me so much joy back in my life. Of course, I do know that happiness is an everyday challenge, and I have to do something for it. I am so greatful that also my boyfriend is sharing this deepending practice with me. I have to say that I am really positively exited to meet him and spend some days with Krishna Das & friends by singing, yoga and spiritual chats. *** Die nächsten zwei Wochen werde ich keine Yogakurse halten, weil ich selber auf ‚Fortbildung’ bin. Ich bin so positiv aufgeregt, dass ich bald mit einem meiner Lieblingsyoga-Sänger ein paar Tage mit Mantren singen, yoga und wertvollen Gesprächen verbringen darf. Krishna Das Musik half mir enorm wie ich einen inneren Kampf mit mir führte, das singen zu seinen Liedern berührte mich so tief und brachte mir innerliches Glück zurück. Ich bin sehr dankbar dass auch mein Partner mit mir diese tiefe Erfahrung teilt und wir gemeinsam diese wertvolle Zeit für uns nutzen können. Mit ist bewusst dass ich mein Glück nur in mir selber finden kann, und ich jedem einzelnen Tag etwas dafür tun muss was meinem Dharma entspricht.
t e a r s // A few days ago I went to yogabarn for a yin&yang w/ @chrisfoxyoga class and I cried almost the whole yin part. I didn’t know why I cried first, cos I had such a wonderful weekend and I felt soooo good. But suddenly old storys from my past arised and so I just let it happen ... all the tears ... from the trauma I’ve went trough, the tumor on my thyroid and all the operations and and and ... All the tears dropped on my mat but I didn’t care. .
It isn't important in yoga to remember the wounding and go over it, what is important is to feel the emotion as it washes through you and then release it. It is one of the best feelings in the world, a real inner cleansing. .
Afterwards I felt so much better. I just needed a place where I can be as I am. This is and was always on my mat. More and more I give myself permission to live this off the mat. Being vulnerable. Being real. Being raw.
So I've been talking a lot lately about aromatherapy. Aromatherapy is very beneficial, especially this time of year with cold and the flu going around. My pineapple diffuser, (isnt it cute??!!) Has been my best friend lately, and this recipe has been a lifesaver for me! Helps clear my congestion that my medication can't, Plus I'm not taking as much medication. Oils can also be very beneficial in keeping the air in your home clean and free of germs. But I will tell you to be cautious when using oils around animals, most oils are fine but depends on the breed. Also these are real oils so dont overdue it. scents like lavender and orange, scent away but I would caution using recipes as instructed for oils like peppermint and tea tree oil 3-4 drops is usually what's called for. My advice when starting out is, make sure you're buying PURE oils not a knock off or ones that are just made for fragrance. Walmart sells better homes and gardens brand that are pretty legit, and, a fair price,as oils can be very high. Considering your only using a couple of drops at a time, you are getting your money's worth. Walgreens has pure essentials as well I found this gift pack over the holidays. Also blends can be a good alternative when your starting a collection so as not to have to buy a bunch to start. Find fragrances that appeal to you and go from there! You may have noticed that things have gotten a little more tropical around here....I’ve taken myself on a teaching adventure to Nusa Lembongan to offer classes at @serenityyogalembongan. It’s a gorgeous shala set in a luscious green garden just by the beach. If you’re on the island or know someone who is then send them our way!

CHRISTMAS MORNING BEACH CLEAN + COMMUNITY (FREE) YOGA •
Friends in Canggu,~ I’m working with Serenity Eco Yoga & Guesthouse to help host a Christmas morning beach clean (8am) followed by a community (free) yoga class that I’m teaching in their Conexion Shala (9am)
I think most people are waking up to the damage that single-use plastic, not recycling and poor waste management is doing to our oceans, seas and shorelines ~ but unfortunately I think we tend to have to be really faced with the issue full ok to stay doing anything about it...
The shores in Canggu are in need of more than a little love so tomorrow we will all meet at Serenity Eco Yoga & Guesthouse on ECHO BEACH at 8am to litter pick the shit out of the shore
After the clean we’ll go over to the Conexion Studio where I’ll lead open-level 60-minute Vinyasa Flow class....
