We bought a second #Geonaute
belt and monitored two subjects simultaneously this time to compare heart rate variability while both watched #Aquaman
(awash with very cool underwater scenes, go see it!) We have been experimenting with different indicators to include in a #physioreview
and it's all very much still a work in progress. Any comments or thoughts on the process is most welcome!

Heart rate variability (HRV) is an indicator of physiological arousal. A statistical feature commonly used to describe HRV is the standard deviation of the NN intervals* (SDNN**) — shown here over the course of the movie.
*normal-to-normal intervals, i.e. intervals between normal, artifact-free R-peaks ** SDNN is calculated using a 5 minute rolling window)
