Blue hour at Mussel Rock...from April 2018.
This is amazing! 😁 We used to read SFGate but never thought we’d be on the homepage for it!
Kristen from @thewaywardhome
interviewed us recently about what it’s been like since we’ve cast off the lines! We had an amazing conversation and loved chatting with her. She has plans to sail down to Mexico soon as well so there was a lot to talk about 😊
Her article made it into SFGate @sfgate
- an online publication based in San Francisco. Check out the link in her Bio to find her blog and the article! Scroll down her homepage to sailboat living to find us but also stop around - there’s lots of good stuff there 😌
If you just found us today through SFGate we’re so excited to have you onboard! Cheers 🍻! #sailingaway #sailingtime #sailinglifestyle #sfgate #cantbelieveit #sfsailing #vagabond #sabbatical #vagabonding
I find myself here in the now. Of course I think about the future and reminisce on the past, but my reminder to stay present is to empower each moment. To give my attention to all of the beauty that is occurring this second. To #empowerthenow
It’s rough in these mission streets
Inhale ease, exhale effort.
It's that time again... #TriviaTuesday
! For this new round of trivia, we'll be testing your familiarity with fish. Starting with what we’re known for... our wide variety of sashimi! First up.. this vibrantly colored fish has a creamy and velvety texture. Its flesh is similar to Atlantic Salmon, but don't be fooled - it's not. Do you know the name of this marbled beauty?
Fiery and Fears
This past Sunday marks another unforgettable day in life. A few friends came to photoshoot with me. The weather wasn't all that great. We went to a hill shooting sunset and hoping to catch some holiday lights over SF skyline but the fog got in the way. We had a fiery sky during sunset. After the colors faded from the clouds we pack up and of course some are not satisfied to go home yet. We decided to go downtown for more photos. We went to shoot the cable cars by the Embarcadero and afterwards we packed up and head home. Having joy discussing all about life and photography while driving. Then the unthinkable happened. We were being followed by bad guys. After we stop the car we got smashed and robbed in about just a minute of time.
What if we just went home after sunset.
What if we didn't stay in downtown for so long.
What if we kept watching the rear windows while driving instead of talking.
What if we had all the strength and reaction to fight with the robbers.
What ifs are too late and too unrealistic.
The questions really are:
Are we quick enough to react during this sudden one minute of time?
Are we prepared enough even if we had all the things that others suggested to protect ourselves during such situation?
Are we strong enough to fight back?
Are we confident we will win and not end up losing our properties and more important our lives?
It is sad. But we all didn't get hurt.
This post is to remind you all to be alert always, anywhere you go, whether alone or in groups. If you decide to fight back, are you ready?
