Highly raved for its soft and fluffy meringue millefeuille pancakes - @pancake_belleville
hailing all the way from Osaka recently opened its first outlet outside of Japan in Singapore.
Treated myself to all 8 pieces of this glorious Matcha stack with shiratama mochi, azuki, fresh cream, vanilla ice cream and a little black honey atop. While the light wobbly cotton-like texture was on point, the bittersweet matcha flavour was rather subtle. The toppings were a great complement to the pancakes, enhancing the flavours while cutting through the dryness of the stack. Add on a drizzle of honey for maximum enjoyment. -

whilst doing our work in a peaceful environment 😌
Monday blues... ... not! because we've just gone and gotten ourselves some Stuffed Berries Hotcake ($15++), Hello Truffle fries ($8++) and Chicken Pops with house honey mustard dip ($9++) (A+ for the dip) at Habitat Coffee :) we tussled over which is our favourite but we chose the hotcakes in the end - warm, fluffy, and just the right balance of sweet (assorted berries, maple syrup, generous sprinkles of delightful speculoos crumbs) and salty (an indulgent dollop of cream cheese) - turns out we never knew what love was until we tasted this! 💕
we've been going to Habitat for a few years now and absolutely love it. do you too? comment below!
Throwback to a beautiful wedding we did for Matthew & Priscilla. We customised our cart with their lovely hand drawn logo. The cups also has a different design to mark the special occasion. In addition we even offered ice coffee with their special sticker designs which delighted the guests. Some of the cups were even taken home by the guests as souvenirs. It’s the satisfaction from their beloved guests that made all our work worthwhile. Thanks again for choosing better coffee.
We are delighted to welcome guests from all over the 🌎! Their smile really bright up our Monday!!! ❤️

🍗 [Liao Fan Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice & Noodle] 🍗
📍 [Chinatown • Singapore]
Dubbed as the cheapest Michelin-starred meal in the world, the Hong Kong style soya sauce chicken rice (S$2) and noodles (S$2.50), as well as the char siew rice (S$2.50) pictured here offer extreme value for money, being both cheap and delicious.
In spite of its unassuming looks, the chicken is tender and comes off the bone pretty easily, and is well flavoured without being too overbearing on the salty soy sauce taste. The thick pieces of char siew are aromatic and moist, atypical of run-of-the-mill dry char siew that’s served by many stalls nowadays.
This hawker stall can be found in Chinatown Food Complex and is difficult to miss as it more often than not attracts a snaking queue even before opening times every morning.
day! We can’t decide between fried dory fillet in salted egg sauce and chilli crab sauce, so we are going to have the ‘Best of Both Worlds’ ($13.80) at @fishnchickssg

So many bubble tea shops jumping on the brown sugar hype train. But none can mimic the original and brilliant 陳三鼎 in Taipei.
One of my favourite Japanese teahouse @hvala_sg
recently opened in a gorgeous space at Chijmes, offering an impressive selection of authentic matcha and houjicha items. Those fluffy dreamy layers of black sesame (goma) and matcha were so rich and good, it's hard to decide which one is better. Also, their Matcha Azuki cake now comes with an additional drizzle of matcha sauce to make the flavour more pronounced. -
Matcha Houjicha Latte [$5.80]
Goma Cake [$7.50]
Matcha Azuki Cake [$7.50]

🍜 [Ramen Santouka] 🍜
📍 [Somerset • Singapore]
The ubiquity of Japanese food eateries and restaurants in Singapore in recent years makes it confusing to identify the top ramen places in Singapore, but Ramen Santouka, which has two branches in Singapore with one in Cuppage Terrace in Somerset and another in The Central in Clarke Quay, promises ramen or excellent and consistent quality.
The shio (salt) ramen here (S$13.90++) has a white tonkotsu (pork bone broth) base, giving a light yet subtly flavourful slurp each time. With a generous portion of al dente noodles and soft char siew pork slices, the overall ramen experience here is to date one of the best in Singapore.
