"The simultaneous stretching of the Achilles tendon and plantar fascia for 4 weeks was a more effective intervention for plantar fasciitis. Patients who reported complete relief from symptoms at the end of the 4-week intervention in the simultaneous stretching group were double that of the stretching of the Achilles tendon-only group."

Anyone fancy a low carbs salad that’s sexy for the waistline and punchy in flavor? Here’s my Tea Smoked Salmon Salad, which I served with spicy Achar, avocado, tomatoes and smoky Baba Ganoush (eggplant dip) on a bed of greens with a drizzle of premium Aussie olive oil, a squeeze of lime juice and cracked pepper. Clean, but yet tantalising!
Here’s a (gory) story as I was making this salad, stop reading if you are the faint hearted type! As I was cutting the avocado, I usually use my sharp Global knife to poke its seed, that way when I pull the knife away, the seed would disengage with its flesh. Instead my knife slipped through and punctured my little finger! I shrieked! Then grab a tissue paper to absorb the blood. The pain, the blood and the shock made me dizzy and I actually dropped to the floor. When I finally roused myself, my helper helped me put a band aid on so I can continue to plate this salad and take some photos. So there you go, the effort I went for my dinner tonight!! And thank god, this little finger is still around to go “weeeeeeeeeeeee hommme”!!
Tea Smoked Salmon
1/3 cup rice
1/4 cup jasmine tea
2-3 cloves (or other spices of choice)
1 tbsp sugar
1. Line the bottom of the wok with foil. Mix the ingredients together in a bowl and pour it on foil. Heat the wok up on medium heat. Put the lid on.
2. Once you see smoke appears, open the lid, place the rack and the fish steak above. Cover again with the lid. Turn the heat down to low. You will see that the sugar starts to caramelised to help the smoking process.
3. Smoke it for 5 minutes, then switch off the heat and let the smoke continue to infuse into the fish for about 10 minutes. The smoke will colour the fish brown. Remove and let cool or serve immediately.
Note; to prepare my salmon, I marinated it with salt and lemon zest for 30 minutes. Then wash the salt away and pat dry.

What a crowd! Good workout today. I am honestly not sure if it's ideal to be working out 2 days in a row. But sometimes I can't help it - the #HPBsg#TiongBahru#HIIT workouts are always on Tuesdays, & more often than not, Mondays are the only days I'm free/have the opportunity to run to my grandpa's for family dinner.
Anyway, me actually exercising is not something I should think too much about. Just do it ✅ 👟
I can't control how time⏱& opportunities roll out, but it's been a journey to get to where I am today. All the training & work behind the scenes is going to come alive starting tomorrow. ☺️🙌🏻
Tomorrow night will be my friends & family class at @uppercutboxing ! ☀️👋🏻
