So, that was a sweaty walk. World heritage site ticked. Thanks to the Tokugawa family for showing me so many beautiful trees and peaceful scenery. I'll post them later for you guys to see.

If Carlsberg did urban parks... I love an urban park, do you?! What’s makes them?
This is one of the best, if not the best one I’ve visited. Oof, texture, colour, senses, proximity to water, built heritage and a story to tell. It’s useable and a great spot to hang out. It reuses pieces of equipment from the sugar refinery that you can see in the background and integrates them so effortlessly into the park creating a three dimensional, multi tiered public space.

I first started learning to play the piano at 7 years old in 1994, having been completely enamored by the music of The Lion King. Dozens of film scores, one live stage musical, and one pop/rock album later, the piano is still my favorite tool to create sweet, sweet ear candy.
