Unimpeachable groping! First long day in a while. Felt good to laugh and climb with @gretchensimms@whitnoid10
Even with a lack of food and being cold.... and big rocks falling on us during our rappel we had a smooth climb.

For the contrast of yeasterday's "poor" island owner, here we have something more luxurious as it's located closer to the center of Venice (closer to the center = more expensive 💸)

Snow hikes or summer hikes?? Jag picks the snow. ❄️🐶 I need better shoes... I slipped and fell about 7 times on this hike 🤦🏼♀️ any boot recommendations?
We've been married 6 months today. While we met just 4 years ago, I must say we've done a lot of rad stuff together. Whether it's a long trek on the bike, or crawling out of the truck to a frost covered landscape, frozen water supply and instantaneously numb finger tips, there's no one else I'd rather be doing it with. Now move over, I want back in the bag! #outsidelove#motherofcomfort#rockymounts#sheadventures#adventuretruck

I’ve never in my life been naturally good at anything but this, this I understand, this I can do. It’s not a race to the top, it is a slow methodical almost meditative dance.
If you rush and don’t place your feet, you will slip, if you aim the axe with anything less then full attentiveness, you will miss. One route can have thousands of small variations and the way water freezes is breath taking, a moment frozen in time.
As I pick my way up the cold blueish white castle I am in a trance. I have never in my life been able to tune the entire world out like I can when I am ice climbing. There is no fear, no doubt, no emotion, no thoughts - there is nothing.
In a world pronounced by constant stimulation I have found a place where I can find complete peace, even from myself. This is why I love the icey climbs 💙
A workshop to untether your howl. We believe that through exploration and rituals, we cultivate the essence of who we are and how we desire to live. The Path of the Wild Woman workshop is a time to explore, to give yourself the gift to unearth - and untether - your inner Howl. If you could use a shake up to your routine, or haven't quite followed through on your New Years intentions, let us help you get there. We are beginning on February 11th and we invite you to join us! You can see a preview with our free iBook by visiting the link in our bio. Over this six-week online course, you'll receive weekly emails that will include thoughtful journaling prompts, inspiration through quotes, poems, art and photography prompts, short guided meditations and access to the private #WildWoman community group with guided discussion questions where you can interact and engage with other women in the workshop. 2018 marks a time of renewal, new beginnings and a reclamation of your #HOWL . If this is something you want to commit to, share it with your friends! Starting NOW we want to give away 6 FREE spaces to the workshop - and the only thing you have to do to enter to WIN is tag TWO friends in the comments. If you win, you and your two friends will get the workshop for FREE (we'll pick 2 winners + the two friends you tag for a total of 6 winners). Think of two women in your life who could do this with you - they will be your accountability partners. We'll pick winners this coming Friday! #HowlOften#Giveaway

Today I'm thinking about collapsing in my tent after barely summiting Mt. Baker. In that moment I felt like, "that was too much." Right now I'm on a path to collapse. I'm simply doing too much, but I don't know what to trim from my life.
How do you find balance between what you have to do and what you want to do?

The Taj Mahal hands down is one of the prettiest monuments I’ve ever seen. ❤️ It doesn’t matter where you stand to look at it- Everything is Symmetrical. It blows my mind how buildings like this was built back in the day without all the technology and machine we have now.
And the love story behind why the monument was built also makes me go 😍 . It just shows that love and anything that is important to you will bring out the badass in you to get things done. All in the name of love!

Starting the day off early with the sunrise puts me in the best let’s-get-shit-done mindset 👊🏻 At home I’m always an early riser, but in the van, we’re always in stealth mode. We are super quiet, especially in the mornings, making sure not to blow our “cover”. Living in a van when you’re camping and in the middle of nowhere is totally chill, it’s the most relaxed feeling ever. I feel so at home. But living in a van in the city is uncomfortable. You feel like an outsider. And that energy that I’m normally filled with tends to get squashed as I lay in bed, hour after hour, until we move to a new destination. But these last couple mornings we’ve driven down to the beach before the sun has come up. We stroll the cliffs, watch the sunrise, and then I crawl back into bed, put on a podcast, and I get my mindset back on track, and ready to kick some booty! There’s no better feeling to me than waking up and feeling driven and pumped on life and all the good that’s coming 🤘🏻 I’ll start sharing my podcasts in my stories if you’re curious as to what gets me mind right 💖
Morning walks on the lake...the tire tracks make me less paranoid about falling through to my icy death 💀

Hike number three of my @52hikechallenge was a short one but hiking in the winter weather is proving to be great conditioning. I used to only hike a couple of times in the winter but now that I am challenging myself to hike at least once a week, despite the weather, I can feel my body becoming more resilient when dealing with various weather conditions. 🙌🏻
