Here is the best business advice I can give you. Step away.
Go outside, be with your family, read a book that has nothing to do with your business, go to the coffee shop and treat yourself.
When we stare at a problem to long it will only make less sense not more. Give your brain the space to wander and you’ll better be able to find the answer.
If you’re still stuck, stressed, confused it’s time to get some outside help.
“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.”
Throwback to summer 2017, when I visited my best friend in Vancouver and we decided to drive down to the states to do this gorgeous hike!
It has it all: big views of Mounts Baker and Shuksan, as well as the North Cascades, and alpine lakes for swimming 🏔🌺
It was absolutely STUNNING !
Can’t wait to be exploring and hiking in New Zealand next year! Speaking of which, anyone of you planning on visiting NZ? 🙌🏼 Will be looking for a travel buddy 🚍
Oh hey y’all, how’s your weekend going? Are you in Christmas mood already?🎅 I’m starting to be, but still missing the snow!
Btw can you guess in what kind of place this photo is taken? 😉
Stay well and shine bright all of you stars out there ⭐️
Live for the moments you can’t put into words. 💙
A long day of via ferrata with one of the best summit views I have seen
I found out today that if I had stayed at my job, the bonus I would receive this month would be the largest the company has ever seen. I would have gotten more money this month than many people make in a year, if I had stayed 6 more months. When I quit, I knew it would be large because of the tax breaks.
I went for a walk and as the snow fell, I thought about how I’ve spent the last 6 months. I believe you have to be willing to give up great things (money, status, job, house, or comfort) in order to accomplish big dreams. I gave up all of those things, and as I sit here enjoying an apple brown butter latte, I’m happy with my decision. Chasing your dream is hard; making sacrifices for your dream is harder. But I have faith it will all be worth it in the end. Cheers! 😁 💖

Killing eve, when in Nice
Today was sublime. I spent the morning acclimatising to Lake Wakatipu (aka Icecream headache) hiking up Wye Creek ( why have I left it ten years?) and then a sublime dinner at @whiteandwongsqueenstown
(see my stories! Lovingly #gifted
) and wandering town where everyone was in holiday mode. Summer you delicious beast I’ve missed you ❤️🌝❤️🌝
I seem to take the "I woke up like this look" quite seriously these days, in the literal sense. I did, in fact, wake up like this. I rarely wear anything but active wear, and I even exchanged my staple hoodie for a puffy jacket that isn`t flattering but keeps me nice and toasty. I do really enjoy these mornings though. They are slow and quiet, just me and the dogs, hitting trails people only frequent on sunny sundays. I`m normally kind of... uptight... when it comes to time, and have spent my entire life nurturing a phobia for being late. I have gone through the years with a habit of always being at least half an hour early, and just the thought of being late used to get the adrenaline going. I`m not cured, by any means. Yet I find myself being late more often. It might be because I try to cram an impossible amount of adventures and to do`s in a limited amount of time, but I like to think that at least a part of the reason is that I`m becoming care free. That my soul is seeking for something else to spend the minutes I waste waiting, my mind needing an escape from schedules and lists of tasks. Time is more free-flowing out here, and it passes both rapidly and slowly. I`m learning to follow the current, to divide my attention based on what my heart says and not what my restless nerves urge me to do. It turns out I treasure a steaming cup of coffee while strolling around in the snow, watching my dogs get into some kind of trouble. Reading a book when I have other things to do, watching that movie I saved a year ago, writing words that are nothing but incoherent gibberish... A quest for being content.
I miss when it was hot out, and I miss Edith (who is in the picture) & Jolly (who took the picture). #fbf
The ruthless of all games.
A little Zion for your evening. ☺️
Riding pregnant has been such a rewarding experience, keeping me out and moving while surprisingly being gentler on my body then walking. I have toned down my speed and technical riding keeping it at a level my mind and body feels comfortable with but am so happy I am still amongst it and was able to race at the #cannonballfestival
So grateful for every ride for keeping my mind and body fit and my little growing girl healthy inside. 🤗
Ps. Excuse the thigh gap, my riding shorts are becoming a bit tighter then normal hehe 😂
I am so proud to announce the launch of @rainyrootsco
- a community engaged in cultivating passion for adventure and a deeper connection with our wild lands. @lydiamrie @nataliemarieartist
and I have been hard at work combining our skills to pass on our enthusiasm for the outdoors to others. We are doing this through words, art, and animation. There will be a lot to come in 2019 including a fully illustrated book, marketplace, and blog.
It’s been so great to get to know all of you over this past year and I’m so excited to finally have more to offer you in return for you support. I really appreciate you taking time out of your day to check out @rainyrootsco
at www.rainyroots.com - link in bio. 🧡
Peace is present right here and now, in ourselves and in everything we do and see. Every breath we take, every step we take, can be filled with peace, joy, and serenity. The question is whether or not we are in touch with it. We need only to be awake, alive in the present moment.
Thich Nhat Hanh
I took this picture of myself with my tripod. And guess what, my tripod tipped over into the water and submerged my phone. 😂 Fun times. But my phone was ok. 😅 Still got the shot. 🙌🏼

We’re going skating again this weekend!! ❤️⛸
I don’t want to live my life “too busy” for, or constantly putting off the best and most important things. I don’t want to constantly say “later” and “someday when we retire.” I want to live a full life right now!
Who’s with me?

Death Valley earning its name -we found this skull of a wild horse in as well as a bighorn sheep skull and coyote bones. This place really visualizes the circle of life.
Ready for another snow storm ❄🎁🎄
A little house in northern Iceland. // If you could live ANYWHERE in the world where would you go!?⠀
A little background on us…. When Jeff and I decided to move from Nashville and were deciding where to go, I made a spreadsheet with things we were looking for in a new location. I’m not kidding and if you know me this won’t surprise you at all. Some of the things on that list… international airport nearby, beautiful outdoors/scenery with outdoorsy activities, a city nearby where Jeff could play music, more sunshine than Nashville, gets all seasons of weather, and more. We considered moving international but knew that would essentially mean losing touch with family and friends. This is how we wound up outside Denver. A lot of people didn’t understand why we’d leave Nashville but we understood why. Doing things that are different isn’t easy but it’s been worth it.
Less peeking, more peaking this holiday season.
Free and easy down the road I go.

Gracious ghost of you
And I will never forget the plans
and the silhouettes you drew me in.
You are never as free to grow as a human as when you are traveling alone
When nobody knows you
When you can be someone at breakfast and be someone new by lunch
When your soul is free to fully express it's current state without any limitations or fears.
I think travel is vital to the formation of some aspects of the human soul.
