Today is the first day of the #bestgoals2019
challenge from @risingidesociety
, and @cultivatewhatmatters.
An Instagram challenge is how I first became active in Rising Tide, so I am super excited to be participating in this new challenge, which is also my first as a co-leader of @tuesdaystogetherli.
I look forward to seeing posts from the other incredible business owners in my chapter as well as all of the other leaders out there and the RT community in general! 📷: @radbookbag
Now let's get to today's prompt:
Where do you want to be when you’re 80, 90, or 100 years old? When you’re 80 years old—or even at the end of your career—what will be important to you, and what won’t?
When I'm 80 years old I want to be with my husband, our families and friends, laughing, telling stories, and enjoying good food and great wine. I hope I've made the most of every minute I've had with the people who have shaped me in the person I've become, whether I knew them for my entire life or just a moment in time. I hope to have helped as many people as possible and to have left a little sparkle wherever I've gone.
What won't be important? Things I worried about that never came to be. That hour or so I just spent watching The Bachelor (sorry, Colton). The amount of followers any of us had on Instagram. The could'ves and should'ves that just weren't meant to be. •

✨Every day IS a gift✨ Sorting through old baskets and bags the other day...de-cluttering...I came across one of my planners from 2016. I pulled out the calendar pages and dividers, leaving only the “notes” pages. After a week of trying to keep up with all the sticky notes of reminders, I think I’ll be tucking this in my school backpack that goes with me from class to class. There are so many things to remember! And as for those sparkly fingernails, there...I’m thankful for #colorstreetnails
and their ability to make even “stubbies” look pretty;) I managed to snap off every single nail this week! 🤦🏼♀️ So, we’re heading into THis week, just a bit more prepared & organized and equally grateful and continuing to leave a little sparkle wherever we go✨Happy and blessed Sunday, dear friends.(did you notice the chandelier in the reflection?) #sheleavesalittlesparklewherevershegoes #findingorder #organizing #colorstreet #pariscouture #thehappyplanner #everydayisagift #specialeducationteacher #plannercommunity
She leaves a little ✨sparkle✨ wherever she goes
Literally couldn't see, the sunlight is unforgiving and its just goofy looking💁 This particular pic was an accident too (usually the best moments captured are), but I love it for one reason! LOOK WHO IS WATCHING ❤ AS A MOM, I TRY TO REMEMBER, THEY ARE ALWAYS WATCHING & ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS😊
I love getting to see these precious little globes in a more “real life” setting. 💛 When I’m making them I think about every little detail, and I try to make it just as perfect as I can... But then I try to take a step back, and see the bigger picture... see photos of them in their new homes, or classrooms, or even just in the hands of some cute little people... and it all just feels a little bit more real 🤗 I always love seeing how you all style them and incorporate them into your spaces, if you ever snap a cute photo, or feel like sharing, let me know 🤗
Lil rule breaker (popsicle in the living room) 😂 It's such a small memory, but sometimes, these lil moments stand out the most later. Seems like yesterday this was Jess and now she is bigger than me😭
Hey frans! Walking into T W O S • day like...get at me laundry, play room destruction, faux snow muddled carpets and unorganized closets! I got something for ya! 😂 If you're wondering, I'll be having a T E R R I___ time handling my daily chore list. I'll leave it up to you to decide my fate- T E R R I F I C or T E R R I B L E...I'll never tell (yeah right. See ya on stories)! Lates. Xo, J
My family would like to thank everyone who donated to our GoFundMe page or privately because that's how we were able to afford such a lovely tombstone that could properly represent my mom. #sheleavesalittlesparklewherevershegoes
