I’m getting the itch to make real ramen again. It is by far one of the most difficult culinary challenges I have ever experienced, (real sourdough bread was the toughest). It has so many components/layers that all have to be specially made on their own, some take all day. It’s a 2-3 day process to make a bowl. In this bowl I used a chicken/beef blended stock, fresh @ramenjunkie
recipe noodles, braised short rib, carmelized onions, green onion, bamboo shoot, pork shoulder. All of the ingredients were locally sourced with the exception of flour. Sometimes I add roasted cherry tomatoes, bean sprouts, and some other fun stuff but this was a hearty bowl.
