Hello, my name is Christina and for those of you who don’t know, I am the proud owner of Majour Events. . . .
I am long overdue for an intro, so I figured I might as well create a post about me and the journey of Majour Events thus far 🤗 Often times, I get asked ‘what inspired me to start my business’...and to simply put it, it all started as a hobby which slowly turned into a business. My company is my baby...☺️ it is an expression of my deep love for creating aesthetically appealing things and even more so, creating memorable experiences so that my clients and guest are blown away. It’s me but it’s also you. . . .
I made a promise that I would never become a business that was just about money. When a client books me for an event, it’s not about how much they have to spend, it’s about what I can do to help them create what they would like at whatever we can achieve in their budget. . . .
We’ve faced many challenges and obstacles, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I learn something new everyday! I have developed a deeper appreciation for meeting new people, and learning about different cultures.. I’m fascinated by the challenges of bringing together the right mixture of colors, textures and lighting to make the perfect ‘styling’ and then expressing the beauty I have created through telling the story. Fun Fact: I am a Taurus so ART, LOVE, POETRY, STORY TELLING = MY MUSE. . . .
I’d like to end this intro by thanking all the supporters of Majour Events, we wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for you - so thank you very much. I am confident that my team and I will continue to execute beautiful events and I’m truly excited to see what the New Year has in store for us! I wish everyone a successful year ahead! Cheers!
Guru Narad ji (the guru of Bhagat Prahlaad ji) taught how to correctly worship God through idols.
Guru Nanak Dev ji comments on the state of Hindus and and says that Hindus have forgotten the essence of Narad ji's teaching and have become lost.
Guru ji says that the essence of any kind of worship is the remembrance of God, no matter how you worship, whether you bow in a mosque or bow to an idol, you must keep your mind attached to God.
Dhanna ji and Ramanand ji and many other Saints in Guru Granth Sahib worshipped idols. But they focused on God during their worship. So their worship was approved by God and God blessed them and showed them his form.
After having been blessed by the vision of God's form, they described God's form many many times, in Guru Granth Sahib.
