"I love it when a vision comes together. Don't you?! I find myself utilizing multiple sources just to find that one look and I can do the same for you. Whatever your vision, let me help you bring it to life." -You'll be surprised with what we can do. #Surprisefactor

, joy is...
🏠 An unexpected pop of color, like a colorful door. 🎨 A colorful paint palette.
🎉 Glitter and confetti. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Is it any wonder Jessi is this month's #joymaker
?! Her use of bright light and pops of color make her a perfect representative for the #energyaesthetic
. 🌈 Jessi began her love affair with color at the age of four and has been creating ever since. She is inspired by life in France, travel adventures, tropical settings, colorful fruit and pop culture.

Tastefully simple minimalism !
It's not often that I throw something on the wheel that utilizes more than a couple pounds of clay. Most functional pieces that I make tend to be smaller items like mugs and bowls for every day use. Every now and again, however, I enjoy the challenge of throwing something larger.
Initially this was going to be a utensil jar for my kitchen but it ended up, at least for now, holding some pretty chrysanthemums to brighten the studio. Once these lose their freshness I may just employ it as a utensil jar after all. It can replace the steel bucket I've been using for years. (You'd think I didn't know a single potter who could make a utensil jar for me).
While I prep ideas for the holiday season, I'm wondering if large vases or utensil jars are something people still use on the regular? Is this something that I should add into my normal production schedule and make a few more?
Happy First Day of Fall 🍂It’s still a bit warm here in NC, but the time for sweaters and boots is coming - I just know it. Fall has recently overtaken summer as my favorite season because Fall means football, more gatherings with friends as everyone’s travel schedules slow down, pumpkin muffins, comfy sweaters, beautiful leaves, the nearness of Thanksgiving and Christmas, the list goes on. What are you most looking forward to this fall season?
P.S. This “Happy Fall Y’all” card is available in the shop to send to all your Fall loving friends - link in profile!
Instead of doing my bio study guide for a test next week I made this cute little DNA strand. Do you think my professor will accept that as an A on the test?
