I am a self proclaimed nut butter addict! I pretty much eat it by the spoonful daily! If I have an extra minute at the grocery store, I intentionally walk down that aisle to see what new blends are out there!
The trouble is, it is kind of an expensive habit! One can easily pay $12-15 for 8oz jar of artisan blended bliss!
So I regularly make my own! Which is so fun because you can come up with your own creations! This one is on point:
Cinnamon Coconut Peanut Butter 🥜1c organic, roasted (no salt) peanuts 🥜2.5c organic unsweetened coconut flakes 🥜2 Dates 🥜Dash of cinnamon and Himalayan sea salt
Blend on high until smooth.
Pro tip: make a smoothie before completely cleaning your blender to capitalize on this deliciousness!

Although green chili peppers are actually red chili peppers which are harvested when they are still green, but each of them has their own unique flavors when they are cooked. Both are used a lot in Indonesian cuisine and I love ❤️ them both 😋
Green Chili Prawns
300 gr prawns, split the back and take out the dirt
1 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp vegetable oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
6 cloves shallots, finely sliced
6 green chili peppers, thinly sliced at an angle
1 big tomato, divided into 12
salt, white pepper powder, and mushroom powder broth
Mix the prawns with salt and lime juice. Set aside for 15 minutes.
Heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Sauté garlic and shallots until fragrant.
Add green chili and tomato. Add some water. Mix well.
Add prawns. Season with salt, white pepper powder, and mushroom powder broth. Cook prawns until they change color (more or less 3-6 minutes).
Serve with warm rice! 😋

But today I just threw in some leftover gnocchi I had sitting in the fridge and had an apple for something fresh on the side. So it was a unanimous YES for this "recipe" from my story poll! Funny thing is, this has to be the simplest Pasta Salad to make ☺️ you can literally throw in just about any produce you have laying around in your fridge. This is the way I typically make it, but feel free to get creative and make it your own!
WHAT YOU NEED:
• One box of @catellipasta
Tri-color Rotini pasta • 1 English Cucumber • 1 can of Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes or Fresh Cherry Tomatoes • 1 Red/Orange/Green/Yellow Bell pepper chopped. Or a combo of all • 6 Mozzarella String Cheese Sticks cut into cubes or fresh mozzarella cubes
• 3/4 cup of your FAVORITE salad dressing. I like to use @kraft_brand
Greek feta oregano but all I had on hand today was an herb and garlic dressing that worked just as well!
• Boil box of pasta as directed • Drain and place hot pasta noodles into large bowl
• Add 3/4 cup of salad dressing and coat/toss evenly
• Allow pasta to now cool slightly while you prep veggies
• Add in all chopped vegetables and toss
• Add your Mozzarella cubes last so they don't completely melt into the pasta. You want them to stay whole
That's literally all that's to it! There are so many variations you can make with this. Sometimes I put Shrimp in it. Or chopped up chicken thighs. The possibilities are truly endless... ENJOY! -

In honor of yesterday being nat’l cherry tart day and all, we felt the need to serve up some cherry *tomato* tart goodness!!
SO SIMPLE! You need: 1️⃣ Puff pastry thawed and cut into circle, sized to your sauté pan 2️⃣ Toss cherry tomatoes in 5 tbsp Chupacabra’s Revenge 3️⃣ Pour tomato mixture in pan, cook for 1-2 mins, place pasty round on top, tucking edges into pan, cut several long vents in pastry 4️⃣ cook at 425 for :30 mins. Invert on plate & Enjoy! So surprisingly decadent. ♨️🥧🍅♨️🥧🍅♨️ Modify as you like. Add basil, cheese, etc. #heidissalsa

The summer is usually a time for me to have a break from my hectic life (aka 5 kids). Now with most of my kids in camp, I have more time to cook and experiment with food. This morning I decided to try shakshuka again a different way. Since I’m not a recipe following type of girl, I just threw in some odds and ends into this dish. Apparently it was good because couldn’t even get a pic of it whole 😋.
Grandmama’s Deviled Eggs
12 (1 doz.) large eggs
½ cup mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. salad dressing
1 tsp. yellow prepared mustard
1¼ tsp. ‘Braggs’ apple cider vinegar
¼ tsp. salt
smoked paprika, for garnishing (optional)
pepper, for garnishing (optional)
• Place eggs single layer in a saucepan and cover with enough water so that there's 1½ inches of water above the eggs
• Heat on high until water begins to boil, then cover, turn the heat to low, and cook for 1 minute..
• Remove from heat and leave covered for 14 minutes, then rinse under cold water continuously for 1 minute.
• Crack egg shells and carefully peel under cool running water. Discard shells..
• Gently dry hard-boiled eggs with paper towels..
• Slice the eggs in half lengthwise, removing yolks to a medium bowl, and placing the whites on a serving platter..
• Mash the yolks into a fine crumble using a fork..
• Add salad dressing, mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper, and mix well.
• Evenly disperse heaping teaspoons of the yolk mixture into the halved egg whites.
• Sprinkle with smoked paprika or pepper. Chill before serving.
