Hey everyone, @steph_vella
here for the final day of my @siruiaustralia
Shooting by the water is by far my favourite type of shooting. I love the rush of the waves crashing ashore and getting in and trying to capture some of the action. For this type of shooting, a sturdy waterproof tripod is essential. This image was shot with the @siruiaustralia
W-2204 Carbon Fibre Tripod.
Thanks for following along this week guys, loved sharing some of my images with you all. Hope you all have a great weekend!
Cheers, Steph 😊 #siruiaustralia #takeover
I wrote a caption but it got deleted with the upload 🤦🏽♂️
SWIPE ➡️ Light-filled mornings on a high ✨ ••• how do you like to start the day? My favourite ways include waking up somewhere big, wild, beautiful like here on the Kepler Track, turning on the bedside lamp to read or write (still half-asleep), meeting someone who energises and brightens me for coffee and cooking breakfast whilst listening to music ❤️
Greetings guys! @steph_vella
here for the 3rd day of my @siruiaustralia
takeover. Following on from my last post, we made our way down to the 12 Apostles and spent a couple of days around this area.
We were lucky to get some pretty nice golden light at sunset, and spent the afternoon admiring the beauty of this place!
This image was shot using the @siruiaustralia
W-2204 Carbon Fibre Waterproof Tripod. 😄 #siruiaustralia #takeover
It has been a while since I have gone out shooting and captured something that I was after.
Clear skies can be a bit off putting for a landscape photographer but it was the perfect time to sit back after sunset and capture this scene of Bouddi NP at blue hour.
It has also been a while since I have been happy with my shooting as I have been going through a slight creative change with how I want my images to be viewed!
So all in all I was very happy to come away with this from the weekend!

I’m currently working through a backlog of images and thought I’d share this one as it isn’t terrible.
This is the Middle Falls at Somersby on the Central Coast of New South Wales.
I wanted to attend this location prior to sunrise to capture a specific composition without direct sunlight ( I was actually hoping for some fog but it wasn’t to be).
With lower volumes of water over the falls I was drawn to the swirls in the stiller ponds.
I got to this location about 40 minutes before dawn and hope this image portrays that. It was so calm and quiet at the time with just the sound of flowing water.
Hope you enjoy.
Hey everyone @steph_vella
again here for day 2 of my @siruiaustralia
Recently I went on a quick weekend getaway to Victoria to shoot along the Great Ocean Road for the first time. On the way we just had to stop and visit these famous falls.
We were treated to gorgeous conditions and managed to get some light rays!

W-2204 Carbon Fibre Waterproof Tripod. Having a stable, waterproof tripod is essential for this type of shooting! Couldn’t recommend it enough! 😊 #siruiaustralia #takeover
Another edit at dawn with the sun attempting to break through those pesky clouds.
Jacaranda season is basically over which means summer is here!! ✨ Ps. Last weekend I took over 4000 portraits so stay tuned for some new content coming up 📸 shot with @canonaustralia

When sunrise is blocked by high cloud on the horizon you have to get a plan B. I didn’t have one but a wander around my location gave me this composition with some promise. So I went for flow and glow.
Cracked earth next Hverir geothermal area under dramatic skies. We never planned on visiting this part of Iceland, but as luck would have it we found ourselves here.
I’m thinking about printing some of my work would any of you guys be interested?
Portrait taken with the new Alfa 7 Mark III and 85mm f1.4. Thanks @sonyaustralia
team for organising a lovely night last friday and for letting me try this absolute BEAST of a camera! ✨
Hey Guys, @steph_vella
I’m taking over the @siruiaustralia
page this week and sharing some of my images and stories over the next few days 😊
A few months ago I had the opportunity to head to these amazing caves. Shooting in the caves proved to be quite difficult, with hundreds of people everywhere, and our guide only able to stop traffic for a total of 90 seconds in each spot. This meant no time for error when it came to shooting.
Shooting long exposures on the sand also meant I needed a really sturdy tripod to get the job done. This was shot with the @siruiaustralia
R-2214x Carbon Fibre Professional Tripod. Super stable and was perfect for the difficult shooting conditions 👌🏽 #siruiaustralia #takeover
My trip here in New Zealand is rapping up and today I went out to Devils Punchbowl waterfall. There’s a lookout there that offers the standard view of the falls but instead of the standard wide-angle shot, I used a long lens to capture a different perspective and the flow of water rushing down. Such a beautiful waterfall and an incredible feeling when feeling the spray from up close. 😈😈😈😈 ------------------------ 📷: @fujifilmx_au
