FINAL DRILL 18: Wall stretches
Now that we’ve spent the last 18 days playing on our hands, it’s fun to do everything upside down, even stretching! These 3 provide a bonus stretch for the shoulders as well when you press and open into the wall. (1) Frog: try to keep shins parallel, knees spread wide (2) Middle splits, get it! (3) Diamond frog: thighs on wall, feet together, try to press feet to wall
Jan HS training drills! Post a favorite HS drill (or just follow the hashtag #hsdrillsjan18
) once a day for 18 days (Jan 1-18). Could also be a stretch, warm up, shoulder opener, creative game, conditioning, etc. Whatever is inspiring you at the moment to get upside down and train. At the end we will all have a skill bank of drills to play with throughout the year! No worries if you can’t think of one a day, or just want to watch/cheer folks on.
