Tips: Take a moment to truly pay attention to that person. Are they well groomed and manicured? They probably take great pride in caring for their appearance. Go ahead and recognize that! Do they have a kind and generous heart? What are they talking about - that is something that is probably important to them. Maybe you are learning something from them or appreciate how attentively they are listening to you. 👂
Be present and acknowledge as many people as you can today for being so incredible. Be sure to be specific 😊 ❗

At a recent @iceman_hof workshop led by @richrealign , I had a HUGE a-ha moment with breathing. Before I used to forget all the different types: 4-7–8, box breathing, etc.
But Richard put it so simply: MAKE YOUR EXHALES TWICE AS LONG AS YOUR INHALES.
Simple and easy to remember:
💨 In for 2 out for 4
💨 In for 3 out for 6
💨 In for 4 out for 8
If your exhales are longer than your inhales, your nervous system WILL respond favorably, leaving you to slip into slumber like a cool tranquilo cucumber 🤙🥒

Omg is this what normally sleeping people feel like every day??
I got my first 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep in 2 years and 2 months (thanks to Leo who now sleeps better AND wakes up @danicalzo in the morning instead of me 👌🏽👏🏻) and I’m feeling soooo good!
I kind of got so used to always feeling a bit off the last two years that it became my new normal.
But happy that I didn’t give in to the toxic sleep training propaganda. Acceptance was a much better medicine I discovered 💗
