Camping season has arrived in Florida
I'm taking myself and only a sleeping bag to stormont in the 1st of November to sleep outside from 7pm to 7am to raise awareness about homelessness and to raise funds for Simon community NI. If you would like to donate anything at all please let me know. Please and thanks! 🙋♀️🍁🏡🌒🌨🌦❄💲💱
Dropping temperatures? No problem. Start FALL-ing in love with camping all over again with our Autumn Trailblazer Setup. #Klymit #SleepOutside

We recently worked with a fantastic new advertising/marketing company called The G Agency. They were interested in creating new content for Flannel and Whiskey targeting a younger demographic. The G Agency's owner Alec Green led a group of very talented new media professionals to create a series of videos and photographs highlighting the Flannel and Whiskey brand. We were blown away by the end result, and the experience working with all of those involved in this project. We highly recommend contacting them for any media related needs!

1.den / first day

Taking off your pack after a long hike. Is there a better feeling?
Good morning! ‘Want to scoot closer to me so the railing isn’t In your way?’ ‘No, I’ve got the perfect window right here’
Oh so cozy in the tent in one of our national forest homes. We are grateful to these beautiful forests and for the many plants who reside in them. Finally we were able to make a fire since we are out of California and things are certainly not so dry here. We had a yummy dinner and loved hanging round the warmth and flickering light. It actually rained for the rest of the night and into the next day while we were here. But we did find the plant we were seeking. The rain only helped loosen the soil a bit for us as we gathered just a few plants the next day for transplanting to Isaac's garden and for me to tincture. #campfire #tent #camping #livetoroam #homesweethome #welcomehome #sleepoutside #camp #nationalforests #medicine #medicinebow #wyoming
I took this picture of my friend @articoicebar
about this time last year in Norway during a packrafting trip. Behind him a fjord, in front of him a glacier and on top of his head northern lights. Piti i couldn't fit everything in one shot.
I’d like to dedicate another post to @systemofadown
“hey man look at me rockin out [I’m on the video]”
As a child being outdoors was life. Family gatherings meant cousins wildly roaming the corn fields or heading to the creek. Playtime with my sisters equaled riding the pony to the far reaches of the pasture, biking countless loops around house, building tree forts and secret hideouts until it got too dark to see.⠀
There was no structure or purpose. We were simply exploring for exploration’s sake. Fresh air filling our lungs, we happily went into the unknown. ⠀
And now, as an adult, I find little has changed. Being outdoors is my happy place. The more time I have to wander into the woods, the happier my soul becomes. ⠀
And yet, it’s so easy to forget. To become focused on the shoulds, lost in the productive to-do lists.⠀
But as Edward Abby said, “Wilderness is not a luxury but necessity of the human spirit.” So the next time wildness calls, don’t forget to answer.⠀
Get outside. Head into the unknown for the simple sake of exploration. Your soul will thank you.
October 2, 2012 - Second to last camp of a bike tour that started on May 1, 2010. Somewhere south of Khotan, nestled between the Kunlun mountains that separate the Tibet Autonomous Region from the great Taklamakan Desert of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. I had pushed my bike off the road and through sand and tufts of desert grass the night before. As night was falling, I see two silouettes and a donkey approaching from the horizon. An old Uyghur man and a young teen approached me and investigate my gear and inside my tent. The old man is wearing one of those traditional tall brown hats and as I light my stove he insists with hand gestures to come back and stay at his home. I look at my gear already set up and I decide it's too much of a hassle and thank him but say I will stay there. I really really really still regret that decision. Perhaps it was because it was nearing the end and I wanted some alone time...or maybe I was burned out...I don't know. But I wish I had taken the effort and followed him, the boy, and their donkey to their little desert oasis.
Homemade soup to warm the heart, outdoor fire to warm the soul...gonna be a great night to sleep 💤 out ...
Full day, heading home, 39 degrees with wind, light rain, window down, classical music on the radio....lovin’ this weather! Gonna sleep out tonight!
