I don’t expect everyone to have paid attention to the 2018 Mr. Olympia results but I’m going to post these pics in humble honor of Shawn Rhoden who earned the win yesterday over the 7-time champ Phil Heath.
A lot of people ask about motivation. How do you stay motivated to work out, to put yourself first for just a little while every day, to make your health a priority, to reach your goal....
Think about this man; he chased Phil Heath for 8 years working out relentlessly, dieting, grinding, and losing...year after year. He finally earned the win this year at age 43 (tied for the oldest Mr. O which was Chris Dickerson in 1982). If you are impressed already, now consider that Rhoden had to pull out of competing at the Arnold Classic in February because he ended up in intensive care getting 6 blood transfusions for a hemoglobin of 4 after discovering 2 bleeding ulcers in his intestines. 7 months later he comes back, in the shape of his life, to win the title of Mr. Olympia.
Whatever excuses you tell yourself, just know that that is exactly what they are- excuses.
Go after what you want.
Do not quit. @flexatronrhoden #noonecaresworkharder #sleepwhenimdead #liftheavyshit #noquitinme #mrolympia #mrolympia2018
