So you worked hard to look amazing for your holiday?
You were hitting the gym like a maniac and cut out all the junk?
The holiday came around and rightly so you smashed it!? Drinking everyday, eating whatever you liked...
Now you come back home and finally look in the mirror. Now you're not on the holiday high you're disappointed in your body. All that hard work seems to have disappeared in just a few days!
Well this happened to me and below I have a plan to help you the next time you need it:
💧You're currently carrying a lot of water weight. You may have been drinking water while on your hols but you're still going to be holding a lot of water. To flush this out of your body you need to drink a lot of water. Aim for 8 Litres per day to really get that water out of your system.
🍔Due to eating everything your eyes laid themselves on your gut is probably in pieces, bloated and inflamed. Take these next couple of weeks to reset your diet. Either go back to the diet you were on before the holiday for 2 weeks or use the suggested calories and macros I've given you.
Try to eat clean and whole foods. If you ate a lot of sugary food while out there your body will certainly want more but if you give in you'll fall into the trap of sugar addiction.
🏋️♂️You no doubt ate and drank a tonne of carbs while you were on holiday and now it's time to burn them off! Concentrate on the main compounds:
🔥Finish with Some HIIT training to ramp up the recovery. Use any piece of cardio and go hard for 20 secs with 40 secs rest and repeat 10-15 times.
