K's review: 2.5/5. I love Heck. We go to a lot of food festivals and they're always generous on the free samples and I am here for that blatant bribery. These however, aren't my faves. Heck do chicken really well, but these were a bit bland. Potentially the point - they'd make a great base to a meal and would go with any cuisine, but I didn't love the lack of flavourings in there. The texture was nice, they were moist and firm and the case browned up really nicely in the oven, but I wasn't wowed. I'll stick to the other options next time. Also on a side note, when C tells you that mash and beans go together, he's wrong, don't do it #gravy4life
C's review: 3/5. I’m always a fan of whatever flavours Heck bring to the table. And today’s contender still raises the bar. The preference for chicken sausages still goes to Chicken Italia (big up my Italian bambinos) but that’s not to say these disappointed. A tiny bit more flavourings and spices would have been ideal, as that is what separates the men (Italia) from the boys. Throw this under two thicc white slices of bread with brown sauce and we are on our way to happiness sunshine.
