I’m finding that it can really take time for your brain to catch up with your body when it comes to weight loss. Whilst I still have quite a few kilograms to go to get to goal, I am literally surprised each and every time that I look in the mirror. I still expect to see my size 16-18 self looking back at me. Today I took a chance and tried on a very fitted active wear top with the leggings I had on. Not something I would have ever considered in the past, and certainly not in a size 12. My inner dialogue was along the lines of “Size 12...yeah right! No way this is going to fit and it will look ridiculous being so fitted. Why are you even bothering to try it on.” But I persisted and I was absolutely shocked when it did fit, and in a way that I would be okay with being seen in public in...lol... It was a great fit and if I wasn’t buying it for walking, I would have bought the size 12 I have on in these pictures. However given it has a light fleece lining I did go up a size so that air could circulate a little. Best of all, it was marked down to only $10 at Kmart.
I decided to save both money and points by using another of the croissants provided by the Airbnb host to make a simple dinner. The croissants already taste buttery, so I didn’t need to add any spreads. I added 50gm of sliced chicken breast for 0sp to the 7sp croissant and added a banana to bulk it out. The chicken and croissant was so good! Perfect combination. So now I am settled watching Girl Boss on Netflix with points up my sleeve for a Halo icecream and waffle treat a little later. I also have all of my weekly points left for a yummy lunch out tomorrow. Winning!

Es gab wieder Standardmäßig Obst mit Müsli & Soya-Joghurt zum Frühstück. Mit allen möglichen saisonalen Früchten. Das liebe ich ja an dieser Jahreszeit. Die Äpfel sind leider nicht saisonal, aber ich kann immer Äpfel essen. Absoluter Obstfavorit.
Ich hoffe ihr startet auch gut ins Wochenende. Bei uns steht viel an um die Wohnung auf Vordermann zu bringen.
Gewichtstechnisch bin ich gerade in einem Tief. Wir kommen vom Urlaub bei der Verwandtschaft & nunja - da wird man richtig gemästet. 😕 Nach dem Frühstück geht's gleich mit Kuchen weiter & danach wird direkt gefragt, ob man noch Hunger hat. Wir haben versucht zu flüchten indem wir viel Wandern waren & einen gewissen Ausgleich geschaffen haben. Sehr viel hat das auch nicht gebracht. Leider ist es so in meiner Familie,dass wenn man nichts essen möchte dies sofort als persönliche Kritik aufgefasst wird. 😐
Wer kennt es noch? Wie geht ihr damit um? Ich kann einfah nicht nein sagen.

Second walk for the day. This one was unplanned. It was so relaxing down by the river so I decided to explore a little. I will definitely be walking this path again.
Coffee makes the world go round....
I missed my best 5km time by 27 seconds, but not too shabby given I came down with a virus last night and also stopped to take lots of photos of the gorgeous lake along the walk. I do have serious lake envy though. I would walk this lake as often as I could if it wasn’t 45 minutes across town. So walk done, now time to find a coffee somewhere quaint.
When I saw the croissants that the host of the Airbnb had provided, I instantly ruled them out. I checked the points out of curiosity and one croissant was 7sp. I try not to use more than 4 or 5 points at most for breakfast. This morning I decided to make an omelette for brunch with the eggs and omelette maker I had brought with me. I realised that by combining breakfast and lunch points into brunch, I actually could enjoy a croissant after all. So this is my filling and tasty 7sp brunch and I enjoyed every bite of it!
I love a weekend away. Nearly 10am and still lounging around in a cosy bed with my WW magazine, a hot coffee and nowhere I have to be. I am planning on getting up soon (maybe) to head out for a light walk. I’m not going to push my walk too hard while this virus is doing it’s thing.

but here it is. Please excuse the after 5km walk sweaty hair in my after photo...lol... This is just over 10kg difference.
I’m battling a virus today that came on quickly last night. I’m not surprised as my son had been sick at the start of the week, so I did pack my immune building tablets from the naturopath as well as a mushroom complex. That does explain the three point rise in my resting heart rate though. I’m not going to let it stop me enjoying my weekend away though. I’m hoping to make it out for a walk around a nearby lake and then head further out of town for a wander around a lovely town and some lunch at a cafe. Have a great day every one!

So I took a trip to @traderjoes
today to get some of the everything bagel seasoning (haven’t tried it yet!) and well, I found alot more than just the seasoning! They were sampling these chicken cilantro mini wontons, which when I scanned them are only 1sp for 4 of them! After trying those I was craving Chinese so looking at their chicken options they also had this orange chicken I just had to have, 1/2 cup for 5sp! Added 1/2 cup of rice for a total of only 8sp points for dinner!🍚🥟
I picked up a couple other items, potato pancakes (4sp), silver dollar pancakes (4sp), chicken and vegetable dumplings (5sp), and some lite trader joe cheese (2sp) that I can’t wait to try in the next couple days! May have went a little overboard🤷🏼♀️😋
