, has opened newly next to Father Muller Medical College. A chic, sophisticated cafe with plush seating, tasteful decor & cafe befitting food, let's talk about some of the dishes on the menu....
Potato & Cheese Fingers:
The succulently fried Potato mash in these gives many non veg starters a run for their money. The mixed Cheese was relatively less in the fingers on our plate, (unlike what our fellow bloggers at other tables experienced), & this was evident when we tried pulling it apart in the middle, expecting the cheese to stretch. Sadly, the finger broke. Adding more cheese, may just render this dish, classic finger food.
Paneer, the first ingredient coming to thought when one visualizes a comfortable veg meal in India, is what greets us at this resto-cafe. Sizzled minimally enough & served with a nice Mint Chutney, the soft cubes are oddly left devoid of a flavour of Saffron, in the mild masala marinade. This needs some actual Saffron.
From the first whiff of the peppy mint leaves, to the sweet lime & then the tangy lime hitting the middle of the tongue, this sincere Mojito gets it all right, including the proportions of each taste. Kudos to a good drink.
