Ringing in 2019 with one of my OG ladies!!! Happy New Year everyone!!!
All of this holiday spirit prompted me to get out my clarinet. So rusty, but here’s a rendition of the Star Wars Theme for you all. 😱😎
The reality of filming your own covers videos:
1) it never takes one take (mostly 50 in my case)
2) someone always walks in the shot
3) they’re fun and always worth it 😍😘 Don’t take yourselves too seriously guys, especially when it come to music 🎶 happy #alohafriday
Tuesday Tip time!
I feel like the last 3 months of the year is the time when many families are booking time with a photographer.
It can be stressful to think about styling all the members of your family for that special shot.
So I decided to share a few tips I give to my clients when they are thinking about a family photo.
1. Plan ahead, 2-3 months if possible so you aren’t scrambling. Think about venue, things like urban or a nature backgrounds, casual or dressy.
Shop for an outfit for in your closet first to see if you save money and coordinate the family from there.
2.Pick a color scheme. You want to have complimentary colors like tan/grey/blue or blue/white/yellow. Don’t try and match everyone, stay classic.
3.Limit patterns, think texture and layers. One or two patterns is ok but can get confusing if you add to many.
Accessories are a great way to easily add this element. Ex. Hats, scarves or bows.
4.Once you think you have it all together lay it flat and take a photo. Seeing all of the colors & textures next to each other will help a lot.
For busy families these tips can save you hassle and time 😊👌🏻🎯
