RG: @marisahopeee MY TOP 5️⃣ BOOTY BUILDING TIPS‼️ . 1️⃣ Consistency: if you want any body part to grow, you need to train it often. I train glutes 3x per week, allowing for a heavy weight/low rep day, a moderate day and a light weight/high rep day. Depending on your personal goals, you can train them anywhere from 2-6x per week. . 2️⃣ Variety + different angles: utilizing different angles will ensure optimum glute growth - hip thrusts, hip extension, deadlifts, lunges, donkey kicks are a few that offer peak activation for the glutes. Don’t be afraid to try different movements to see what you personally feel works your glutes the most! . 3️⃣ Find your happy medium: for many exercises, going too heavy increases your chances of improper form and you’ll fail to activate the glutes, same goes for too light. There needs to be adequate tension without sacrificing your form, find a weight that is challenging but still fires your glutes at max levels. . 4️⃣ Activate your glutes: this is a huge one, as soon as I started incorporating band work and activation drills PRIOR to training, I noticed a huge difference, this ensures your glutes are turned on and firing as they should during your workout. . 5️⃣ Hip Thrusts: I NEVER used to do hip thrusts, it wasn’t until about 1.5 years ago I started doing them once a week, now I do them 3x per week and they really are king... hip thrusts activate your glutes best and are really great for overall leg strength. Make sure your form is perfect for max glute development, watch videos and practice!
