„The Lady in the Wind“ We booked a tour with Dixie Ellis Lower Antelope Canyon Tours at 9:30 am. The lighting conditions are best here in the morning and in the early afternoon. It‘s tight down here, but you‘ll be compensated with a beautiful play of colours. You must visit!!! 🙋🏼♀️____________________________________________

This is the start of my new artwork! Intimate portraits of nature where I hike, in my beautiful city of La Cañada in So Cal...north of LA. Because my dog Indie is a ginormous sniffer I am always forced to stop (he's very stubborn which makes him too strong to pull if he doesn't want to go)...in looking down at the small stream running down along the regular trail I became engrossed with the amazing rocks, colors, leaves and abstract patterns of it all. After over 2 years of collecting photos I am finally digging in and starting this new line of work...SOO exciting and fun with lots and lots of color!!

at The Chang La Pass (17,590 ft altitude) is a second highest mountain pass road in the world. climb is very steep and requires a careful drive. The stretch of 10-15 km road on either side from Chang la is loose dirt and slush. Long way to the top!
I can tell you, it's high. Very high!
