I mean sometimes I forget how old I am cause I literally have done so much already by 22.
I am so blessed to be where I am.
Many of you already know part of my story but not only is it my 22nd birthday but it’s also a celebration date of being ADOPTED BY THE BEST FAMILY FOR OVER 20 YEARS!! Summer is in full swing so all of us need to stay hydrated! I know there are sports drinks out there that can help you, but they are FULL of sugar amongst other crap, and you really only need the electrolytes out of them.
Here's a simple, cheap hack: get your water, throw some blueberries (or other berry of choice) and a sprinkle of SEA salt (NOT table salt) in your water and there ya have it. A drink that is tasty, has electrolytes, no added sugars, no artificial dyes, and will make you feel good.
Electrolytes are made from sodium, magnesium, calcium, and potassium. This drink contains sodium (from sea salt) that most of us are deficient in. **Bonus to nursing Moms** skip the blue sports drink that the internet claims will boost your supply. Artificial dyes, artificial flavors, sugar, and more are not nourishing for you or baby. This simple drink will do your supply wonders! You can also try coconut water, or making a smoothie with banana or avocado, a sprinkle of sea salt and some cacao to get more of the beneficial electrolytes 😋
